I bought the Belgian waffle plates too and they really enhance the waffles.
The deeper ‘trenches' hold the butter, syrup and the extra thickness makes them restaurant quality.

Use my Griddler all the time. The waffle plates make fantastic everyday waffles, no more frozen toaster waffles. Using the grill feature is great for burgers and chicken cutlets. Paninis come out crispy and toasted to perfection with gooey cheese. Paninis are a great way to use leftovers, my kids like Thanksgiving paninis.The griddle is great for pancakes and eggs and bacon. The best part of the griddler is the removable plates. They can be easily cleaned, not just wiped off in a fixed plate appliance.

Versatile Kitchen Appliance

Replaced and old George Forman with this grill and have been very happy with the performance.  We've cooked all kinds of foods on it and they have all cooked evenly and tasted great!!  And the cleanup has been phenomenal.  No need to scrub the two plates, just wipe with warm soapy water and rinse.  Really a great product!!

Excellent Grill

This is our second Cuisinart Griddler.  We liked our first one so much, which we had for about 15 years that it was time to get a new one. The first one was still working, however, the plates needed replacing so we thought we would just buy a whole new one. This machine works great for pancakes, waffles hot sandwiches, and I'm sure many other things that you can think of..

Cuisinart Griddler

This is so versatile! It took a minute to figure out the perfect settings and times, but I've made pancakes, hamburgers, and boneless chicken breasts. So far, I've been very impressed. I also found some recipes online specifically for the Griddler. Also, super easy to clean.

We recently purchased the griddler.  Our first use was for panini sandwiches which were perfectly crispy and delicious. The recipe book is very helpful with some great recipes. 
It is very easy to use and clean up was a breeze. We are looking forward to using it for other meals.

Wish I would have bought this sooner!

It's sturdy and cooks very well. However, you have to be careful not to burn yourself because the top lid isn't insulated. Because of this you have to make sure you unhook the top part BEFORE you warm it up if you want it free swinging instead of clamshell pressing. It also doesn't stand upright for storage and doesn't lock in place for ease of movement when you have it unplugged. So be careful when you move it so you don't accidentally scratch the plates against each other. The instructions that came with it were minimal and didn't even cover the basics of operation, only some safety points. I don't want to scan a QR code for a manual for a basic kitchen appliance.

Works well but handle with care.

I selected this Griddler because it had simple, hopefully reliable, controls instead of an LCD screen with related smarts that is just one unnecessary feature waiting to fail prematurely. I also selected it because I could get compatible waffle plates. I was impressed by how quickly the Griddler came to temperature and especially how quickly it returned to temperature after one waffle was removed. The one disappointment was that the waffle cooks unevenly. The bottom is nicely browned and crisp while the top is paler and softer. This prevents me from giving it full marks.

Simple to Use, but Uneven Heating

It is good for Panini butt as far as bacon and other things that has grease it do not drain properly there's not enough space for degrees to drain and it spills off the back of the griddle when pushing away the grease.👎🏿

Only non-grease items

Truly a poor design!  Grease and/or fluid does not drain off the center back, but pools in the rear corners instead, to the point of overflowing.  This has happened on two identical Griddlers!  Also, when you raise the lid to check on food, it does not line up over the edge of the grill plate, but about 2”  behind ir, therefore dripping any grease or fluid on the countertop AND the on coil that connects the two grill sections.
