Ratings & Reviews+

D-Link 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast, discreet & low power consumption Network devices always seem to be 2 ports shy of a full deck. Swapping cables to a different device live upsets Windows discovery & before you know it, a half hour is wasted rebooting everything to get the network back up. This switch is perfect for my home network... ...fast enough for external hard drives & enough ports for printers, scanners, hubs, etc. There's no provision on the web page to choose black or white. I got a white one by chance; it's what I wanted. Yeah! (way too many little black boxes around here.) The LEDs on the front indicate what's active, what's not & don't add to the laboratory style blinking light show when the room lights are off. Bottom line... ...it's efficient, benign on the senses & to top it off, inexpensive. For hardware, that's a great deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hot Little Switch Using this with a NetGear 6200 wireless router (using one of the 4 wired ports) and the "system" works great. I have 60Mbps throughout the house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well This is exactly what I needed as I needed another port for a home camera and it has worked well for several month now. Now I just need something to tame all the extra cords LOL!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What I need Not the color I expected.I wanted in black like the picture says but I received a white one instead. Didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it so I guess I can try in white. Besides that I think it's fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product These are pretty simple devices. You plug them in and they work. Nuff said. By using store pickup, I was able to save the price of shipping. Good value.
