I bought danby "Portable Air Conditioner - DPA120B1WB" couple years ago...still it works well without issue. Danby customer support team is very helpful when my air comditioner has some broken pieces, they sent the pieces very quickly. I'd like to strongly recommend danby product.

I was tried to put the window air conditioner in every year so I decided to buy the floor model on wheels that only takes 5 mins to put the hose to the window and have cool air and able to move from room to room this unit was the best decision I could have made for an upgrade for apartment living

Air conditioner

I was skeptical on buying any air conditioner because I read good reviews and bad reviews. So it was a gamble. The reason I choose Dandy is because I did read a review that said they were AWESOME at customer service when a customer wasn't happy with a non-working conditioner.
I bought this one for my daughter's room which is on the side of my house that gets the warmest and was disrupting their sleep. It was so easy to set up everything including to the window. And it works perfectly. It gets their room at the temperature I set it to within 30 minutes and stays that cool until I turn it off. I was very impressed with how it worked.

This Danby Air Conditioner is the absolute best product I have ever purchased to cool my place down. It keeps my bedroom cool and you hardly know its there. It is so quiet I have no trouble sleeping with it in my room. I am so glad I purchased this product.

Best Product I have ever purchased

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. This air conditioner sits in my bedroom and I have absolutely no problems falling to sleep. It keeps my bedroom extremely cool in 90 degree weather. I find it really quiet. It is actually quieter than the fan I was using before I purchased this unit. I am very pleased!!

Excellent Portable Air Conditioner

Bought this because of the hot summer and keeping our family cool. Awesome!!

Excellent Machine

We use this unit in a den/kitchen combo area. It works wonderfully to cool the entire area and allows us to keep the whole house air off or at a higher temp. The room we use it for is afternoon sunshine so it really heats up. The unit solved that problem and is much less of an electricity guzzler than our house air. We live in an area that does get many over 100+ degrees in summer.

Very pleased with our Danby air conditioner

I bought this product to air-condition our bedroom. It is very efficient and easy to maintain. I didn’t use the heater and dehumidifier much but they work very well. The only flaw is that it is too noisy even at the lowest speed. I'm sure you can do better. So because of the noise, I would probably look at other brands d or my no recommendation. Sorry.

Very efficient and fast for a medium room

Con: Shipping was actually to the shipping center and not the address. Installation for swing windows required design by a local glass company.
Pro: Works well keeping a large room at 26 when outside is 36. The sleep function lowers the temperature overnight. Dont know how much the electric bill will increase but it is working well. Thanks

Does the job!

I'm impressed with th quick cooling ability and not having to worry about dumping water.
The only thing I disliked was the hook up to the window. It is very cheaply made and the tabs broke easily causing me to use clear tape to hold the hose to the window connection.

Pretty good air conditioner

I read reviews before I purchased. But this unit doesn't cool very well. I put a thermometer in front of unit and it reads 18C. I gave it another try the next day and still the same. I think this is not acceptable.

Don't work well....
