We bought this about a month ago. It is the perfect size for just the two of us now that the family is grown. The efficiency specs sound very promising. It is extremely light and easy to move. We were especially impressed with the quick and free delivery!

Great little freezer

I just recently bought this freezer and I really like it!! It is plenty big and it looks really nice. I ordered it off WalMarts online shopping site and it was delivered to my house by Purolator . Such a convenient way to shop and it was hassle free!!

Very Nice Freezer!

Wonderful size! Small enough to tuck into our tiny laundry room and yet plenty roomy inside for a couple of foodies, who entertain a lot! Oh yah and we transported it on a 14 hour move mid year. Kept it up-right, let it settle overnight, plugged it back in and its still running perfect.

Purchased this freezer just over two weeks ago and am loving it. Works excellent and holds a good amount. Love how it freezes my ice cubes in no time at all. Small enough to fit in my kitchen, yet internal storage space is enough for this family of five. I am totally satisfied with this freezer and would definitely purchase it again.

Awesome Freezer

After close to 15 years our old Danby 5.5 freezer chest packed it in. I searched all over the internet for a similar freezer and ended up with another Danby 5.5. The only difference I could see between the old and new freezers was the basket and divider - the older version used a much heavier gauged wire so I just swapped them out and went with the old ones. Besides the color of the freezer, they looked identical. Walmart had by far the best price - even better than those on sale at other stores. We are hoping that this one last as long as our old freezer did - only time will tell.

Dandy Danby

I've had this freezer for about a year now and it seems to be humming long just fine. Price was right. Fits well in the smallish space I have for it and has ample storage for my 2-person household. I no longer see the freezer burn I used to get when storing meats in my refrigerator freezer. I'm able to keep it at a pretty low setting and everything is still very frozen. No complaints.

Great price and meets my needs

I purchased this freezer to help me quickly freeze raspberries, of which I gather approximately two quarts per day. I kept it in my kitchen July through September, which made it all very efficient. It has quite the repertoire of operational sounds, but it never seemed to raise my electric bill. I would make this purchase all over again.

Not too big. Not too small.

We just purchased freezer about 3 or 4 weeks ago it is great and even has wheels for easy access for cleaning behind and beneath it ! The service we received from the online ordering was remarkable ! The freezer arrived 1 day before it was supposed to and was here before 9:00 AM and the delivery guy from Purolater just brought the 80lb freezer up by himself as we live in an apartment even though my husband was prepared to go and help him ! Just amazing the whole experience we are very happy with our purchase !

Wonderful Product

I researched small chest freezers before purchasing this one. Yes, its a nice size, comes with one basket and fits in my laundry room. Holds just what I need for extra freezer space. I noticed it seemed to be running all the time. So I called Danby. Had repair guy out here.The door seal hinge needed to be adjusted. Worked fine, but now less than 2 months later I am finding its runs too much again. if I place a heavy object on top of the door, it doesnt run as much.The seal probably needs to be adjusted again. If they could just fix the seal I would be a very happy camper! Calling Danby tomorrow.

I bought this freezer 3 weeks ago but I only opened it today, February 20, 2016 because the renovations were not finished. It fits in every point the description but there are several damaged places (small bumps). It may be during transport, but it is disappointing. Since this is a fairly large item and the box is damaged, I do not intend to return it. I have purchased several items from Walmart in the past few months through your website, but I am not sure about my next purchases. Thanks. Yves.
