Tried for two years to get this freezer through various appliance stores around Calvary. They always had it on their website but going into the store they couldn’t get it but they always had a more expensive name/brand that I didn’t know with only a one year warranty, finally found it on Walmart and it arrived a few days early so far so good

Danby freezer

This is my 3rd purchase of a Dandy chest freezer 10 cu. Ft. I have never been dissapointed. Perfect, size making it easy to organize and clean. Fits in smaller spaces, quiet and light for quick confirmation that it's on. Highly recommend Danby products

Great freezer

I have had the  10 cf freezer for little over a week and so far things have been going along as they should (keeping a good temperature, no weird noises or leaking of anything).  I was a bit concerned about it keeping its temperature after reading some of the reviews.  But so far, everything has been fine.

Really good freezer (so far)

I recently purchased the Danby deep freezer and couldn’t be happier with it. I was a little hesitant about the size at first, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much room it actually has. With dimensions of 43.9" x 33.3" x 25.7", it offers far more storage space than I expected.

Another bonus feature is the built‑in light — something my very old freezer never had. It makes it so much easier to see everything inside without digging around in the dark.

Overall, it’s a wonderful product that delivers great value, plenty of space, and convenient features.

Danby 10.00 cu. ft. Chest Freezer

We had a small Danby freezer (that was 20yr old when we decided to replace it with this larger one) and it seems to be great - garage-ready, has a light inside, and two baskets.  The size is perfect for 2 people that like to freeze bread to keep it fresh, store nuts and pet food in it to keep it fresh, etc. The TWO baskets instead of the usual one make it so much easier to find those little items like frozen herbs, parmesan rinds, etc, that we use occasionally and don't want to dig around for (we keep things organized by using large cloth shopping bags to sort things in the main compartment). If this one lasts as long as our last Danby, I'll be thrilled. The 5yr warranty is great too!

perfect freezer for the garage

We had a smaller freezer. This one is almost double the size.  it’s great. It has a light inside. And it also has two baskets.  And lots of space. Haven’t had it for very long but so far so good.

Chest Freezer

We purchased the freeze as part of our freezer order.  It works very well so far, it's very deep and cold.    We will promote Danby stand alone freezers.

1st time purchase of Danby stand alone freezer.

The freezer was VERY easy to move to our basement. It fit perfectly in the alloted space.
It was VERY well packed and no damage.
I read the instructions and followed them to a T then I transfered all items form the old freezer into the new. It all fit perfectly.

Great buy

Just got this Danby 10 cu. ft. freezer today. Turned on at standard #4 setting and it cooled down fast, so all good so far. Aluminum is frosty and hope that doesn’t mean quick ice buildup but time will tell. Downsized from a 12 but seemed to hold what we need so far. Always had good luck with Danby products so hope this continues the run.

Nice mid size freezer

It is hard to evaluate if it works properly since it has only been 1 week since we received it. SO far so good. It is silent and looks good and a fair size freezer.

Good size and very silent

The size is well proportioned and suits for my needs. Also, the storage baskets are a bonus. The only inconvenience I'm encountering is the flickeringl light when tapping lightly on the lid or placing items in the freezer. The vendor says that it's normal and there's nothing that can be done to solve the problem. I'm skeptical of his response.
