I had done a lot of comparison shopping online before the purchase of this freezer. I was looking for size and features but did not want to spend a ton of money. A surprise feature was there is a wire divider over the motor mount creating a "inside basket" besides the two sliding baskets. A lot of the freezers I have seen do not have this added feature. Makes storing smaller things or things needed right away, easier to grab.

I like this freezer very much. It is a good size for a two - three family. It has a larger holding capacity than I expected - this is a plus. It is well built, looks good and doesn't take up to much space. It works really well and runs very quietly. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a medium and compact size freezer for a samll family.

Great freezer for a small family.

Have only had the freezer for a couple of weeks but seems to working fine. It is very stylish and was rated a best buy by a consumer magazine. Also is energy star rated, so the costs for operation should be very reasonable. Ordering from Walmart was very simple and had it delivered to my local store, saving shipping costs. There were no dings or scratches as it was packaged very well. You will need a large SUV or pickup truck to get it home and at least 2 people for moving it. I am expecting many years of trouble free use. If not, I will update this review.

Good value for the money

This is more space and value than expected, there are very convenient shelf/baskets that will make this very easy to use day to day. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Outstanding Value!

I have owned this freezer for only 2 weeks but have found the product to be very good and is easy to find things with the 2 separate baskets. Free delivery to a local Walmart was very quick and the pricing at Walmart was excellent. Great value for the price paid.

Freezer review

We took the first freezer we ordered home and then discovered after unpacking it there were several dents and it looked like the carton had been dropped. One end was pushed way in. Took it back and received a refund. Reordered the same freezer which arrived in good condition and is
in use in our home. As for durability of the product...time will tell. We were not happy with having to haul that first freezer around but the employees at Walmart were accommodating in making sure we were satisfied.

Mixed

We brought 200 lbs of salmon home from Alaska and needed to order an extra freezer! After a quick search, we selected this one based on capacity, reviews and length of warranty. We've been running it for a month and have had no issues.

So far, so good!

This is the second one we have bought, the wire baskets are inferior to the first one and on both the power light has failed, but as we access them nearly every day and occasionally check them with a digital laser thermometer it's not to much of a problem. Will probably check them if/when they fail.

It's an OK freezer

My Danby freezer is slightly larger than the Woods freezer that it replaced.
There is no light inside of this freezer as was in my previous freezer, so I have had to install
a light above the freezer.
There were not enough freezer baskets, as in my old Woods freezer so I took the baskets from the old freezer and put them in my Danby freezer.
This Danby freezer is noisey and there is a plate covering the motor that constantly makes an annoying vibrating noise.
Fortunately my Danby freezer is located in my garage where this constant vibrating noise does not bother us!
There is much more frost build up on this freezer than on my previous Woods freezer!
