I absolutely love this upright freezer, it looked small when I saw it in the store but when I started to put food into it ,it just kept giving space. It has wheels on it ,so can be moved to clean behind it, something that is a bonus! It looks good and tucks into any space you have. I have already defrosted it ,because I got it in summer and was opened many times, it took a lot shorter time than I expected and refroze quickly. I would without a doubt recommend it to anyone! Fantastic Freezer!

No more upside down digging through frozen packages looking for lost items.  No more ancient items sifted to the bottom and forgotten.  I purchased plastic bins at Walmart that fit on the shelves to separate and stack packages, a bin for beef, pork, fish, and chicken with miscellaneous items on the door.  Finally!  Organization!

Easy to store your food items, and find, rather than digging through a chest freezer. Lots of shelves, plus shelves in the door. Has an excellent suction seal, so much so, that it is hard to open immediately after closing the door. I've had it a year and have had no problems.

Freezer great for organizing!

My wife and I are approaching retirement and we're finding our apartment freezer chest too difficult to use. We reasoned that a vertical product would provide better access with less bending. The Danby product we selected provide double the capacity in the same footprint plus much easier access to the product. The freezer is quiet and keeps all of the products very cold.

I would strong recommend it for apartments or any place a smaller chest freezer seems appropriate.

Great vertical freezer

Love this freezer! The only negatives, not enough to deduct a star, were some minor dents and scratches. Heck, I just put a magnetic business card over them. Coming from a chest style, the freezer holds more than I expected and uses less power. I noticed that it only runs about half the time. It could use a pilot light so that I could tell at a glance whether or not power was on to it. I am using a small spike filter that has a light on it as a substitute.

Looking forward to eventually purchasing the companion frig.

Just what I needed!

I bought this freezer a few months ago and I am very satisfied with my purchase. It freezes food well. Only once, I had closed the door badly (you really have to check that it is closed well) and it made more ice but nothing very important. I recommend this product!

Very good purchase!

I love the functional storage of the upright freezer. I started with it on my main floor, and it seemed quite noisy. Once I moved it into the basement, I couldn't even tell it was running, it was so quiet. I think it may not have been balanced at first. I have no complaints about the freezer.

Decent freezer, especially for the price.

Bought last summer. Upright freezer works very good. Sometime makes a little noise while running but where we have it is of no concern. It is very convenient being an upright, however remember that it will not hold quite as much as a regular freezer. Brother-in-law has had a similar freezer to this one for 3 or 4 years and has had no problems.

A little bit pricey but we didn't shop around so we don't really know what the prices were for other freezers smaller than the one we had before but it's nice and it came in quickly yes I would recommend it

Freezer

Since this was a gift for my mother in a different state I used site shipping. My brother and mother picked up the item that was in a  box from their local Walmart. Once they got home and unboxed the freezer the door was dented in (bad) . Of course since I am 9 hours away and can't return the item. Fortunately, the damaged door doesn't seem to interfere with the workings of the freezer itself. It just makes for an ugly Mother's Day gift. 
Very disappointed.
