My wife and I bought 2 of these electric wood stoves, she has always had a wood stove being from Scotland, and really missed having one. So when I showed her this one she said oh yes get 2 I love it!! You have to put the 4 legs on, the screws come with it so easy. Its very light and fit right under our tv stand, and works perfect its classy looking like a real wood stove and has a nice glow when the lights are off. They were shipped fast less than a week. The heat is really nice if your feet get cold it also works very well, I would highly recomend this little wood stove its a great ulternative to the real thing if you can not have a real one. It is plastic but that doesn't bother me just makes it easier to move, you won't be dissapointed if you buy one its small so its needs very little space if your in an apartement. I hope this helps oh yah the door does open on it as well.

Great little electric wood stove and great price!!

This little heater gives off more heat than I expected. It heats up our entire living room area, we don't even have to use our baseboard heater.

I wanted a faux fireplace but didn't like the wallmount flat ones and didnt want to spend a fortune on the ones with the built in mantles/media centers. This looked like a good deal so I bought it. I am very happy with the purchase. It throws out a fair amount of heat - more than I expected - and it isnt too noisy. The flickering flame effect is better than I expected too. For the price, I really didn't have a huge amount of expectations, but this surpassed any little expectations I had. I'm very pleased with it.

I'd recommend it to friends and family, for sure. The little door makes it look somewhat authentic. It's like all the benefits of a lovely, cosy, woodstove without the mess and smell! :) Great deal...
