Depend Maximum Absorbency Protection with Tabs Briefs is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 353.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please bring back to old design!! This was the only adult diaper we could use on our son that worked. We have been faithful Depend customers for years. However now with the "new improved" designs THEY SUCK!! It's hard enough to cope with all the medical and mobility needs of my son, but to now have to constantly worry if he is going to wet/mess anywhere and everywhere is FRUSTRATING!! Seriously if it isn't broke Don't Fix it!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible betrayal of long time trust Greetings depend. Have been using the plastic backed 3 tab diaper for 20 years and it has been consistently the one diaper I could count to do its job and be available anywhere in the country. Tonight I came home home and received my shipment from Amazon and had cloth backed 2 tab diapers with no elastic waistband. I tried to put one on and the tab just simply ripped off. I tried putting on another one and it doesn't Snuggly around my waist at all. How could you betray my trust and the trust of thousands of your customers who have to endure life with urinary incontinence. Using the old style diaper for protection was a safe haven for many of us, it helped us cope with this condition with as much dignity as possible. Do not call this an improvement do not ask if I've tried those garbage adjustable underwear. The only reason I stuck with you for so many years was because it was a good product and now you have destroyed it. Bring back the old style diaper now or I promise you I will not be the last and certainly haven't been the first person to abandon depend forever.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This garbage is not what I ordered The site has a picture of the same great plastic 6 tab diapers I've been buying for my mother for years. I open the latest order to see and feel some cheap paper garbage that resembles that cheap stuff she use to get for free with her insurance that I quickly stopped and instead opted to pay for depends and now this foolishness. The site has not updated the product or mentioned anything about this horrible change. And I have to ask, depends, why are you destroying your product? The diapers were perfect before why are you doing this? I absolutely hate these "New" diapers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back the old Depend w/ 6 tabs......PLEASE We do not like the new design of the Depend w/tabs. The material is made of paper and it leaks through, especially wearing them overnight. Everything gets wet. The tabs are so far apart they do not keep a good fit around the waist and on the sides. From the production line every brief has been folded in such a way that two of the Velcro tabs have been folded back and will not stick. I have been using tape to keep the sides closed. I could go on and on. There is no shame in bringing back a good product. Hungry Jack brought back the microwave bottle of syrup. You had a perfect product. No moisture leakage, six tabs and a blue guide line for a better fit. Most important it was comfortable and affordable. Then you changed it. Sometimes change is not for the better. Thank you for listening.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from deeply dissatisfied The two features that I prioritize when making my decision of what incontinence product to use are: an elastic wasteland because without one briefs fall off me almost immediately, and the stand-up leak guards because I get terrible rashes from products that use strong elastics on the leg cuffs. The fitted briefs with six tabs were the only readily available product that satisfied my needs and I have been an extremely satisfied user of them for years. I have tried every product Depend has ever produced, and I don’t need “recommendations.” I am sure everyone who has complained about this change is fully aware of your full product line, and patronizing responses implying we don’t only further the impression that you don’t respect your customers. When I tried the "New" refastenable tabs garbage being passed off as "new and improved," I discovered basically everything that I liked about the product was done away with. I thought they might be better for day ware, but I don’t even want to finish the bag I am so unhappy. The “Depend’ brand which used to stand for quality is now EXACTLY the same as any store brand available at 2/3 the cost. With the cost cutting to the number of tapes and the removal of the elastic waist-band I need to wear underwear on top just so it isn't falling off, and the very first brief I tried ripped because the tape had to be so tight to compensate for the cheeping out and removal of the elastic waistband (I can’t for the life of me who’s ‘feedback’ would be to do away with an elastic waistband, were people's briefs staying on too well?) and while there is still a stand up leak guard it is much less effective and supplemented by extremely uncomfortable leg cuffs. I am sure in lab conditions it holds the same amount of liquid, in a practical application there is no way this is the same level of protection. It is your company and you can do what you want, but the only reason to stop making the old briefs and replace them with these instead of simply offering both is to cut cost. Yes, there will be people will like these more, but I'm sure they're the ones that don't need the superior protection your product used to offer. In conclusion, I am deeply dissatisfied and I will never buy these “Refastenable” briefs again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from supposedly new and improved The older style three tab very seldom leaked. The new two tab Velcro leak almost every time and the tabs often move. Our laundry has increased since using these due to more accidents. There is nothing to be impressed about these. We have used the three tab ones for close to five years on our son and we were always impressed at the lack of leakage compared to other brands. Now we are forced to check out other brands for a better product.
