Simple and convenient to use without hassle.

Holds varying numbers, from a week's worth to fewer than expected.

I provide live in home care to my elderly sister. She uses between 5 to 6 attends a day. On average. Without this thing, the odor and bacteria in the bathroom and her bedroom would be unbearable! Its a bit difficult to shove the larger sized attends down there, but we've put old curtain rods next to the both of them and use the rods to get the diapers down and the lid closed so the carbon filter can do its job.

This item is a godsend!

Put in order for pickup and service was great. Was ready earlier than expected. This is a Christmas gift so am happy to get early at a decent price. Service rep who brought out item was very pleasant and friendly. This is the way to do Christmas shopping.

Very good price

A great purchase for when baby's diapers start to get smellier!! We didn't buy this until our son was closer to 4 months old when we noticed his diapers getting smellier hahah! Great at collecting dirty diapers and keeps the smell away, even in small spaces!

No smell even in small spaces!

The older model had a button handle that worked much smoother. They cheaped out with a flimsy plastic latch this time.

Cheap plastic handle

What a quality downgrade. The one I bought for my first kid 4 years ago was 10 times stronger. This is so flimsy and looks like it will fall apart even if you stare at it angrily :/ every time you open it to take the ba out, the handle comes off in your hand. And I bought 2 😬

Terrible quality

This is my second Diaper Genie, and find the quality flimsy compared to the one I bought in 2018.  The handles are only plastic with no springs, and because of that the handle keeps coming out again and again.

Cheaper quality than it use to be

The mechanisms were a bit flimsier than I expected and compared to over models I have owned.

A bit flimsy

Does the job, though the material it is made up of is very cheap. I was able to find metal and good material used diaper storages bin at Amazon with comparable prices.

Okay but not so good

I've been using the old diaper genie elite 2 for almost 3 years second hand. It was better quality than this new one. I like that this opens easier in front unlike the old one with the heavy lid falling backward. However, there is a gap around the section that opens to bag area. It allows smells to escape especially if the bags are scented. The plastic is flimsy. I want to see the plastic be stiffer and hold tightly together. And the top lid where diapers go never closes tightly in its own. I have to push it completely closed with my hand every time. I never did that with the old one, the plastic was heavier. I've been using this for a month and it already looks like it's falling apart since nothing stays closed on it. It's a great design,  but cheap plastic is used and the actual bin looks cheap and flimsy.

Convenient but needs improvement

Poor quality...the clip falls off again n again...and the smell escapes out ...very disappointed
