After having a series of issues with delivery of this item (either Wal-Mart or Loomis forgot to put my postal code on the address label of the mantle box, resulting in it getting lost in transit and a lot of time spent on the phone and chat with customer service of both places, before tracking it down), it did arrive undamaged (lots of damage to the box but was packed well, luckily). It's a nice solid wood fireplace, very heavy, and electronic controls seem to work well. However, some of the pre-drilled holes weren't perfectly placed, resulting in one of the front pieces of the mantle being very slightly crooked. By the time I finally managed to track it down and got it assembled, I didn't care enough to send it back over this issue, but it's still a bit frustrating. Overall, I think it's a good product but I just had some back luck with it.
