I bought this steam cleaner because I have a bad back and I wanted a light weight portable steamer to clean with. I have dogs and cats so I don't like using harsh chemicals. No odor, no scrubbing. I just steam the wall or tile and wipe clean with a towel. Free facial as well. Be careful not to scald yourself and don't use this around small children. I love it! I wish it was a little bigger it does a fantastic job for the price! I bought this cleaner because it got good reviews on line. It did not disappoint me.

Great steam cleaner for cleaning Tile

My husband said I was foolish to buy this; "it will not work." He used it to clean the tile walls and floor in our bathroom. It worked great. The only problem was the very small mob cover; it does not last long. We made do by cutting up an old towel and making some covers; they worked better than the replacements I bought for the machine.

Eliminated most cleaning chemicals!

My husband chose this as a gift from his employer, not knowing what to expect.  I am amazed!  I helped a friend clean the grout in her rental home and it went from black to tan again with ease.  I have loved it for cleaning everything from shower tile to floor grout to household items that I want to sterilize without harsh chemicals as well as removing tough spots out of carpeting.  I absolutely LOVE this product and if it gives out in even just a year I would definitely buy another one.  

Amazing deep clean!

I have had mine for 12 years and not had any problems with it. And I use mine all the time. I even took it to my mothers and used it to clean all the tools we were selling, a lot of tools. We had a 4 family tool sale and I used it every day 4 three weeks in a row.

I love this cleaner

I love this product. I also got it as a prize and I enjoy using it. Easily cleans grease and dirt out of areas otherwise unreachable with traditional cleaners. My only complaint is the attachment wears out quickly (cloth pad) but replacements are very cheap (aprox $0.85 each) I use this product quarterly to deep clean my kitchen. I takes some patience due to the small tank but that is not a concern for me and for the price of the steamer.

The tools must be for a miniature doll house. I wanted the pad tool for cleaning my bath tub tile. The pad is 5" x 2". It is impractical. It would take hours to clean the tub tile! The brush is less than an inch wide. The squeegee is 7" wide. Totally useless for any home cleaning I have ever done in the last 60 years. The concentrator nozzle produces good steam "shot". This product is only useable for small spot jobs. If I had not received this through my credit card rewards I would send it back. I would never recommend the Dirt Devil Handheld steamer.

Minature Tools

I just opened it excited to use it. Had lots of projects lined Up to do. Didn't help out all on my shower (tile, grout, glass) nothing. I used all the appropriate attachments, distilled water. When green light came on, tons of water came with the steam for several minutes. Steam came out fine after that but didn't help clean anything away. Very disappointed. Tried to used each attachment on something different and saw no results anywhere.

Won't clean anything

Worked really great at first-I followed all directions to clean it out between uses, but although the water got hot, nothing would come out of the nozzle!  This was a prize I received, and am I sorry I chose it!  It is junk, and since I did not purchase it, I have no receipt to return it.

Quit working 2nd time I used it!

The machine, which I bought a long time ago, worked fine for several hours and then stopped. I put it away for several years and recently tried it again to figure out what was wrong. The water doesn't get hot enough to produce steam. The light goes from red to yellow, but never to green. I had it plugged in for an hour or more. Could not get it to produce steam. Tank is clean; nozzles are clear. The heat element failed.

Stopped working

Received this as a gift 6 months ago. I used it twice, first time did a great job on my bathroom shower tile. Second time steam would not come out of the nozzel. Called customer service no help as I do not have a receipt for this item as it was a gift. This was a great dissapointment.
