We have hard wood laminate and lenolium floors. This is an awesome little.machine. cleans big and small messes with hot water. Sometimes we use a drop of lemon Lysol for smell but justvolain hot water does the trick for pure clean. I love this and highly recommend it

I did a lot of research on all the various brands.  Some complain that this one is not as good as others but in my experience it is equal to or better than others.  My daughter-in-law has a very expensive name brand model and my Dirt Devil works as well and cleans deeper and faster than hers.  It takes her about an hour to clean her bedroom floor and I clean mine - solid wood, by the way, in less than 20 minutes in the same amount of sq footage.   Anything that is man-made is bound to have an individual product fail occasionally.  I have had no problems and love the product.  

Love this Steam Mop

I shopped around for over 2 years, comparing steam cleaners. After much research I decided to try this because it not only cleaned floors it also would work on carpet spots. I can't say enough good things about this little steam cleaner. It arrived and set up was a breeze, used it on my kitchen floor and was amazed how much dirt came up. Then I tried it on a carpet spot and the spot disappeared. The price is worth it, if you haven't decided yet on what brand to purchase, try this one.

Got it as a GIFT .. it most definitely has been a Gift that practically opporates on its own.. with little to no man power. I am satisfied with the end results.. Steams away dirt, grease, crud, whatever it may be..

Bought this about a year ago and so glad I did. Didn't realize how much dirt I was missing with my regular mop. Love it and will never go back to a regular mop!

Love this stream mop

I received this as a gift and I love it! So easy to use and I love steam cleaning. This is great for hardwoods,tile,linoleum i even use it to santize aroumd my toliet.

I loved product at beginning, I bought 6 vacuums for myself and friends and family.But 1 by 1 died have had a few replaced but now replacements are dying also.Might try some other model see if last longer than 1 year average.

Good vacuum

I bought the steam vac when I decided I was buying a house with wood floors. I used it a couple of times on the tile floors in my kitchen at old house and really loved how it worked. It was several months before I finally got the new house and a couple more before I moved in but when I went to use it, it would heat up but no steam. Unfortunately,the 1 yr. warranty had elapsed, but I only got to use it maybe four times in total. Just not worth the money to me as that averaged about $15 per use. Looking at other reviews, there seems to be a pattern.

Quit working after three uses

Thought I would try this steam mop after my other steam mop which lasted 10 years stopped working. This steamed for about 4mins and I was very impressed how fast is was to clean my floors....then it stopped steaming and just hummed. Never came on again. checked everything and proper water level. This is getting packed up and returned to the store. Poor quality for sure!

Disappointing

Ordered this with reward points.  Finally got to use it (year later).  Doesn't work.  Lot of noise, gets hot, but no steam or moisture to pads.  Throwing out!
