This is my 2nd Dirt Devil Vac. We still have the 1st one & it works good but the canister is showing it's age (about 7 years old now) but we still use it. This Swerve vac is an upgrade to the old one and it does a good job. It takes a little more time to get used to the swerve action and it seems a bit heavier to push around but all in all it is great. Hepa filter works good, we were surprised at how well it picks up dirt on the tile floors as it does just as good a job as on carpets. It's east to empty and filters pop in/out easily. We keep the new Swerve downstairs and the old dirt devil upstairs.

Bought this item for work, A non profit organization, would have preferred a Shark. As other reviews mentioned this thing is hard to push, no exaggeration. Suction is good but swivel design not great. Also not a fan of the dust cup. I have had better and worse, this may sound cliche but you get what you pay for.

Good not great...

The vacuum is great for hard to reach places, but the suction is just ok. Not a strong suction, so I have to vacuum over the same spot multiple times to pick up most items.

I have only had this vacuum about 5 months. It falls over easily when using the hand tools, it doesn't move all that well, after first couple of uses the suction from the hose is non existent and has now began blowing more dirt around than what it picks up no matter how well cleaned it is. Worse vacuum ever, one of the most disappointing purchases I have ever made.

Do not buy!!!

Sad... not good... used it for 4 mouths and the belt broke... not easy to replace the belt... but im not a quitter... good luck.
