I have used the Dove Volumizing Gel over the years as a means of holding my hair in place after styling it. Not only does this product do an excellent job in this respect, but there is also like no excessive odour or scent in using it as well.

I have tried this all over my hair, but because my hair is fine, I only need it at the tips and also at the temples and then blowdry to create my style. It keeps the frizzies at bay and maintains my style. I don't egven need hairspray with this product as it holds nicely and naturally all day.

I use it mostly on the ends of my hair, but my hair is long, so have to cover quite a bit.  It leaves my hair sooth and tangle free, not so dry.  I get a lot of perms, so this is perfect for my try hair.  Helps tame it down.

I have long thick hair, so sometimes have issues with finding products that work well without leaving my hair feeling thick and greasy.  Unfortunately, this is a product that will not work for my hair.  Although it seemed to add a little volume at first, my hair soon "settled" and just felt and looked heavy with a greasy shine to it.  This is not a product that worked fr me at all.

It didn't do much for my hair, unfortunately.  My hair looked flat and dull. Maybe I need to use more of it...?
