Ratings & Reviews+

Downton Abbey - Season 5 (Blu-ray) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Masterpiece:Downtown Abby Season 5 Very poor quality. Commercials were in vivid color and quality. The remainder was dark, as if filmed in very low orange light. It would go blank and then skip to another scene loosing portions of the story line. Scenes were grainy. It was not anywhere near the quality of seasons 1-4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Continued first rate presentation of early twentit This series is a well presented walk through the early twentieth century of the Estate Society of the United Kingdom. It perhaps does not show a view of the common folk away from the Estates, but it is enjoyable and addresses a failing way of life. It also addresses the social Morales of the landed gentry and their servants. It is well and the plot is somewhat believable in that no group of people can weather as many trials and tribulations as this drama packs in nine episodes times five seasons to date.
