The Dreambaby® Denver Adapta-Gate® combines safety and convenience in one fantastic package. Hardware mounted for stability, it incorporates three hinged panels that can accommodate straight, angled, wide, and/or irregular openings and landings. Unlike many other gates that only span a doorway, it creates safe and roomy landings at the top or bottom of staircases and can also be used across wider openings. It’s easy to arrange and install based upon your needs and preferences, and using the Denver Adapta-Gate® makes this even easier! Designed by parents, for parents, our gate allows for one-handed operation, has a convenient automatic close-and-lock feature, and comes with an EZY-Check® indicator so you know when the gate securely closed. Our gate also comes with the Smart Stay-Open feature, which allows the gate to ‘stay open’ whenever it’s not needed. I put it up in front of my children's bedroom door so that they can play without the puppy getting in and chewing up their stuff. It doubles as a way to keep the toddlers where I can keep an eye on them better. I seriously don't know what I'd do without it! I love that I don't have to step over it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We'd been on the market for a good gate... but I'm sure every parent knows that when you go to "buy a gate" it's not so cut and dry. You've now got to factor in measurements, likely something you didn't think of before.. you have to factor in materials, cost, usability (being able to use it in numerous areas - doorways, stairways, etc. - without having to search for something that is very specific to your measurements.) We live in an older home, that was custom built in the 50's. You don't realize the struggles you'll face until you're trying to find doors, windows, and YEP baby gates! Not something you consider when you buy a home. Needless to say, finding anything custom sized is impossible unless you have no budget whatsoever.. custom made pieces will cost a pretty penny! This dream baby adapta-gate is seriously a life saver. How didn't anyone think of this sooner? It's AMAZING! Another thing you don't think of, a door opening one way. Of course, it's not a "big deal" if it doesn't, but if it's noticeable after the fact, you'll always sit and think "wouldn't it be nice to open whatever way I want?". Of course, it's not a necessity, but it's an amazing feature that anyone will love! Then, you have the option to leave the door open without it shutting on you! Carrying a load of laundry and trying to finagle gates open is not fun. The best part about this piece is that it's affordable. You are not going to break the bank with this "custom to you" piece. Sure, you can find a gate way cheaper, but factor in the additional parts, work, ideas you need to make it "work" for your space... and you may as well have spent only a little more to get this gate... install, be done! This, in my opinion, is a huge step in our baby-proofing market. I've already recommended this gate to two of my friends as well as a few family members... some don't even have kids! But they have pets. Again, versatility!!! Don't even double think this purchase. You won't regret it AT ALL!

LOVE THE DESIGN!!!

It's easy to operate and functions as advertised. The gate itself will not mount into a standard door way on its own as it is too narrow it requires you to use the side mounting gates that do not open while that's not a problem for us it is worth noting.

I would love to buy and use this product again

I was totally shocked, and surprised, on the quality, and durability of this product. First, I love that this gate can be portable, or mounted. Which can be easily taken with you, if needed too!!! Great to take when you travel or on vacation. Second, I loved that the panels are made out of sturdy mesh, which allows easy cleaning. Other products don't have this feature, which makes it hard to keep clean. Third, I loved how this gate locked. It's easily opened by an adult, but very difficult for a child, or infant to open it. Which gives parents, and adults that added safety measure. I am absolutely a future customer, for life!! I would highly recommend this product, to any parent, or grandparent, who need that added safety measure in your home. This is a product that any parent, can stand behind!! I would absolutely give this product a five star, and my parental approval!!!!!

It can fold upin various directions and can be made to fit any size doorway or stairs very easily. Super easy to use and I would definitely recommend this over any plastic gate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The adjustable gate worked very well for us. We like to keep our dog out of the baby's room and it's durable enough that our dog can't scratch through it or chew threw it like our other wooden gate. Very sturdy construction. The only thing we didn't like was that it was a bit difficult to figure out at first but after using it a couple times we got the hang of it.
