This was a birthday gift for my daughter, she loves it as do I... (may be purchasing another for myself) I got her the white 16 inch and it is just a perfect size for her space. It is just mesmerizing! We could watch it for hours... Beautiful item! Shipping was super fast as well!

I received my white 21-inch outer diameter drift bowl within a week of placing my order.  It was very securely packaged and all anticipated elements were quickly identified.  Assembly consisted of attaching the power cord, placing and smoothing the sand (two bags of sand are provided for this model; I found about 1 3/4 bags was sufficient to provide full coverage of the field), positioning the ball and placing the glass lid.  Downloading and setup of the app was simple, although it takes a little while for my phone to cycle through all my other Bluetooth gadgets until it shows the Homedics-drift for pairing.
Daily use has been superb.   I typically set the speed for 3/4 of the max.  I've changed the lighting to a few pastel shades that I find to be particularly pleasing.  The muffled sounds of the drift are mostly reminiscent of driving on fresh snow, very relaxing.  Sitting and watching for the half-hour or so it takes to make one of the over 50 patterns is a good way to declutter my mind.  Highly recommended.

Relaxing

I say investment because it really helps my mental health. So it's not just an expensive purchase I got myself. Its crazy satisfying and never gets old. There are sooo many drift patterns to choose from. The app is very easy to use. Shipping was also very fast! I have no regrets

Best Investment Ever

An amazing way to relax, get lost in the designs and amazed at the detail of each one. 
I also love the breathe feature to match your inhale and exhale to the lights. 
If you're having sticker shock - think of this as three massages or float sessions… but you can have this in your home and use this tool to relax whenever you want!

ZENsational

The Drift is just crazy cool!  Both me and everybody that has seen it in action is just mesmerized.  Operating app is a little 'wonky' and somewhat difficult to use and navigate threw but I'll live with it.  Pattern library should have more definition (black on white would be good).  Otherwise a great product.

Absolutely Cool!!

Well worth it..... I wasn't sure what to expect when i ordered it. I have Parkinson's and am always looking for was to relax and destress. The Drift definitely does that. It is amazing to sit there and watch it do its thing. There are numerous patterns and lights to choose from. Its a great way to relax.

Its worth it

I am so intrigued by the creativity and ingenuity of this product. I purchased this when I missed a beautiful retreat because of COVID. It's fascinating, calming, amazing. So much so that I purchased one for my office. People stop by just to see what beautiful design is next. It's truly a gift that keeps giving!

The best gift I ever gave myself!

The drawings are amazing, the lights are enjoyable, and the patterns are gorgeous. The app on the other hand leaves something to be desired... After shutting off the Drift for the night and reactivating it the next day, when loading up the playlist you have to unplug the Drift and allow it to calibrate again to start the playlists. I can get rather frustrating on the aspect of the App, but all in all the Drift is a solid buy!

The Drift is Great, but the App stinks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cool toy, fun to watch it make progress. But the app is annoying. It's always asking me which device to connect to even though there's only ever been one device in range. Why not just have a default device and put an option in the settings if people need to change it? Also sometimes it tells me I need to reset the device and then forgets all of my favorites and playlists. So overall the app is not as convenient as it should be.

Cool toy, annoying app

I returned it since the lights weren't working properly. They sometimes wouldn't come on at all or would randomly flash or a one-inch section would only light up.  None of the special lightings like Northern Lights would work at all.  So disappointed that it wasn't working properly.  I have the 16-inch Drift which works perfectly.
