Ratings & Reviews+

Drive Medical Dual Pad Steerable Knee Walker with Basket is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 92.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little tool Having had ankle surgery awhile ago, I purchased this item to make it easier for me to get around the house. It really works fine, however, I am older, and heavier, and it wears me out just to get around the house. If you are in decent shape, it will do you a good job. Goes well on carpet, and REALLY goes well on hardwood or concrete. Just take it easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drive Medical Dual Pad Knee Walker I recently tore my Achilles and was really not looking forward to using crutches for the next 6 months. Then I found the knee walker. This is a God send. It was easy to put together and now I can get around my house very quickly and efficiently. It is best on a hard surface, so I did move a few area rugs. It works at the supermkt, the DR office, everywhere. The turn radius is a bit too large, but I think that adds to the stability of the unit. This is a must have for anyone that has leg issues for any extended period of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Knee Scooter! This is a nice scooter. It is very sturdy! I rented one for my last surgery & now for this surgery, I decided to buy it since the price is good. I would pay more if I rented one again. I recommend this brand ove all the others..You would love this product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Came fast and easy to put together. The knee walker came before it was supposed to. That was a big plus. It was easy to put the seat on and adjust it and the handle to my height. I'm 5'7. I only gave 4 stars because I haven't used it yet and Walmart has sent me an email everyday since I received it to right a review. I'm having tarsal tunnel surgery on both my ankles back to back. I was suggested this buy my surgeon. The seat says it hold 350 pounds. I live in Ohio, so I am a little concerned about the wheels and how well they will deal with ice and snow. There is no traction what so ever. They are smooth and shiney. The basket is a nice touch because I won't have to worry about carrying a bag and it detaches. I have used the scooter inside to "test it" (a.ka. play on it) and the brakes work well on carpet and tile, but again it has not been used out side yet. I'm doing this to get Walmart to spot sending me an email everyday.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Deal on Sale I had a foot surgery that requires me staying off my right foot for 2 weeks. I had ergonomic crutches, but wanted to use that time to get stuff done around the house, so I wanted something that would give me more ability to move around an multitask (carry things around the apartment, reach for things easily). This totally does the trick. I feel so much more confident moving around on this than on the crutches (which I've only used once so far when I went out and stumbled a couple of times). I don't think I would have bought it had it been full price at the time, since it's only for two weeks, but I would recommend it at any price if you have a longer time that you need to be off one foot. My one complaint is that the pads dig into my shins a bit. They tout the two-part pad in their marketing materials, but I think it was a mistake to separate into two because it's the internal edges of each pad that really dig in and hurt from frequent us. I've been using my son's toddler pillow to pad it, but it's not an ideal solution. Some good firm foam would have been good had I known.
