Ratings & Reviews+

Drive Medical Seat Lift Chair Overbed Table is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My laptop table My main use for this table is to be able to use my 17" laptop while sitting in my Golden Technologies Lift Chair. The table is sturdy and spacious. It swivels easily. It was easy to assemble (just be cautious when removing the shipping screw during the last step of assembly...the table shoots up like a rocket). What would make it better? I wish it had a locking mechanism so that the table wouldn't swivel away from me when I'm typing madly on my laptop. My work around for this is to press the remote on my lift chair to lift it just enough so that the arm of the chair is just starting to press up against the underside of the table, which causes enough resistance to keep it from moving away from me. I tried to find this item on display at lift chair stores so that I could see it in person before buying it, but no luck despite calling all around Southern California. I finally decided to take a chance and order it without being able to try it out first (I think that the lift chair stores are missing a bet by not having one of these tables on display; I think folks would want one to go with their new chair). I'm glad now that I decided to order it, and would recommend it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Requires a lot of space to work as intended This is a very sturdy, well made table. It is difficult to slide under a lift chair and keep it there. The main problem we have encountered is that when the table is at a good height for using you must always remember to use the lift mechanism to raise the table or as the chair lifts it sends everything on the table flying. It is difficult/impossible for my mother to operate that mechanism when seated. This would not be an issue if we could place her chair where she had a full two feet to the side of it with nothing there. The table will easily swivel. The problem is space. If, like me, the room is equipped for convalescent care (hospital bed, lift chair, potty chair, plus dresser, bookcase and TV stand) there is no extra space.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works Table top loosens and base is not ideal for our particular chair but its better than a side table. It works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Table Table worked beautifully once I figured out where it had to be sole arm with swivel around seems to be well built it's quite heavy which it should be so don't fall over when you're using it very good deal really

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for a lift chair I was excited to get these and they got here super quick. Got them put together only to find that they won't slip under the chair. Our lift chairs have a vertical bar that runs the length of the chair. They are not stable enough to just keep them by your side
