I actually used this around my bathtub in my own home and it works perfectly. I tried a different sealant at first and as soon as it.got wet it turned into a goopy mess. This is extremely easy to work with even if your a novice. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was so easy to use. After cutting the tip at an angle it goes on so easy. I had never cut at an angle before. Make sure you do this. It makes it so much better to apply. The color is super white and very pretty. It seals great. Easy to clean. No smell. Makes everything look clean and neat.

I've been using this brand for a few years now.  When I converted a small barn to a shop the ceiling was covered in galvanized roof metal.  The Dap #230 I purchased at the lumber yard was used to fill the gaps along where the wall an ceiling meet.  It sealed and adheres to the different material very good.  
What I also like is that you dont have to plug the tip after opening the tube to keep the caulk from solidifying and wasting a tube if you dont use it up right away.  I forgot to do that and a few days later I came back and used the tube with no problem after forgetting to tape the tube tip.  This brand and specific product is now my go to product for any caulking needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just installed a couple new windows and needed a caulk that would create a waterproof, airproof, strong bond that could withstand the fluctuating temps. So I gave the DAP 100% waterproof window, door, and trim sealant a try. It was easy to apply, easy to squeeze from the tube, great beading and smoothed easily. I did make a couple mistakes but hurried and peeled it up before it skinned over. It was easy to clean off the tools with warm soap and water. I gave it time to cure and I painted over it the very next day. It looks great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to seal around my tub and shower area in my bathroom. It was very usy to use and went on smoothly. I let it dry overnight. The next day I used the shower and the sealant held up great. It was waterproof just like it claims to be!

Great product

I originally bought the 5.5 oz size that looks like a toothpaste tube to seal the trim around my garage that had the builder installed caulking torn up by the TX weather, especially where trim meets the cement floor. 8 years later, still looks good. So when I started a bigger reseal job recently, bought the tube that goes in caulking gun. Flows well, easy to apply where needed. Tip: I still had the original 5.5oz tube. The plastic cap off that fits the bigger tube perfectly! I had stopped mid job for a couple of days, capped off the tube, product was perfect when I got back to sealing later. Just don't cut off too much of the tip so cap has something to grab onto.

Durable, easy to use

Use a spatula or just a wet finger. The 230 clear is very easy to use and much lighter than other acrylic sealers. It takes a while to cure but its worth the wait. After 3 years the sealant around my front door (outside) is still crystal clear. Fills joints up 10mm easily, but for thicker joints its best to build up layers then apply a smooth final coat.

I will buy this product again and again!

It claims to be 100% water and weatherproof. It's also for interior and exterior and seals up joints up to two inches wide. I have heard, tried and bought DAP products before. It's a good quality brand. My experience with DAP Dynaflex 230 sealant was very positive. I sealed my windows on the porch and has kept the water from coming. Especially with all the rain I have gotten. I like there is low odor, it goes on smooth, it fills in the cracks and crevices and dries very quickly. I love how it deals out the water and the weather. It's easy to use, apply and spread nicely. However, I do recommend using a small scraper to help smooth it out. To me this DAP Dynaflex 230 100% Waterproof Window, Door and Trim Sealant feels like paint and clay texture. I would recommend DAP Dynaflex 230 100% Waterproof Window, Door and Trim Sealant and buy too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used the Dap Dynaflex Interior/Exterior sealant on our newly remodeled bathroom tub and sink. We used this to seal around tub unit and the back splash on the sink. This went on very easily and smoothly however the dry time was longer than anticipated. We have used other sealants in the past and this seems to be just as good as some of the higher priced ones on the market. Had never tried this before nor heard of it. We will buy more of this as we have some outside sealing to get done before winter.

Great everyday sealant

We replaced siding trim on a back porch exterior with Hardy board and used this caulk to seal all edges and holes. It dried overnight and the next day we painted with Sherwin Williams Emerald exterior acrylic latex paint (very expensive), and it would not cover the caulked areas. Everywhere we caulked the paint bubbled. After painting the caulked areas 4-5 times, the cover was finally almost acceptable. We will never use this product again and are returning what is left to the store.
