We owned a Dyson upright which became too heavy and cumbersome, but we love the Dyson brand. So we purchased a Dyson V10 and it's lightweight, cordless and has varied suction selections and with the flip of a button you can vacuum hardwood or carpet. It was a great choice for us!

I bought this a month ago to add to my collection of Dyson products.  It's my 4th.
I love Dyson products and have had cord vacs and cordless thru the years.
The suction is amazing and the long battery life is so nice.  It's a little heavier than my
older model but not a issue for me at all.  It's easy to empty and quiet.  I have Cat who
adopted me and she leaves pieces of herself everywhere. She SHEDS.  I simply get my vac out and
let it do it's thing.  I've even vacuum the bedspread that she loves to relax on.  Thank you
Dyson for making such great products that make my life easier.

Great Product

Wonderful high-suction machine. This is my first cordless. The V10 picks up on the first pass even in lowest suction mode. The dust canister is a little hard to remove from the stick, but manageable. On big jobs, there's a bit of trigger fatigue. Also, I wish there was a light on the machine for dark areas. I can work with those issues. Overall, this was a great purchase.

Mostly flawless

I bought thus vacuum 3 weeks ago and the cost was completely worth it. The suction seems great, I love the maneuverability and the filtration seems effective. Having a rechargeable battery adds to ease of movement and vacuuming. I have decreased total time of vacuuming by less than 50%. I vacuum more often now.

Once a Chore Now a Breeze

On my 3rd Dyson after my daughters keep “borrowing” them. This model has been incredible, handling a new build clean up with ease. I have dealt with sand tracked in the house for a few weeks while waiting on sod and it has handled the mess beautifully. Super powerful, long lasting battery, easy to use!

Great purchase!

This is the best vacuum I've ever had!  It seemed pricey, even on sale, but once I used it the price didn't matter!
I've had other brands of cordless vacuums and they did not clean the carpeted areas at all. The Dyson cleans all floor surfaces brilliantly.

Pure Pull!!

I've had it for a week to replace another Dyson V7. My cleaning person was just here and used it and was very happy. I used it yesterday to remove spider webs off my deck and it worked just fine. One comment: the manual explains how to open it for divestment of dust: not clear enough. Spent time figuring out how to open it...overall It's gorgeous!

Everything I'd expected and more

I've had this vacuum a couple months. It hangs in a closet and is easily detached to start vacuuming. I love it. No cord. Lightweight, and powerful. I vacuum two or three times as often as before. Picks up cat hair handily. It's easy to empty the debris.

Powerful & easier to use than traditional vacuum!

I absolutely LOVE my new Dyson V10 Animal! The suction is amazing…even on the lowest power! I had another brand of stick vacuum and it didn't come up, at all, to the standard of my new Dyson. My old stick vacuum literally DIED after two and a half years! On low power the Dyson lasts almost a full hour. The set of attachments is also wonderful!

Wonderful Stick Vacuum!

Great vacuum! I was anxious purchasing the cordless vacuum but this one has lived up to the brand quality expected of Dyson. I could tell such a difference in the flooring after vacuuming-so much cleaner!
My only minor issues with the product is the smaller rollers-lots of back & forth. The other is battery life. I'm able to get the whole house done on one charge but if I try to do some extra( baseboards) in a room it doesn't quite finish the whole flooring.

Customer Service

We owned an earlier model and was really happy with it.  For the V10, the attachments do not attach to the canister that easily.  The design has it where the canister lock does not have the canister far enough back for the little plastic tab to be out of the way.  Great interlock design idea, but poor execution.
