The silicone bottom was surprisingly effective, at first I wasn't really sure if it would actually work but it did and it think it's an excellent idea to have/use that type of material on a makeup sponge. Innovating! I've been using it for over two months now and I've washed it three times already, it's still working like it's brand new, it's textured hasn't changed. I like it a lot!

It applied my makeup well enough, but I didn't notice a significant difference compared to my regular makeup sponge. I appreciate that it's easy to clean and doesn't absorb much product, but it wasn't something I found myself reaching for often. While it may work well for others, I personally wouldn't purchase when it's time to replace. It wasn't bad, just didn't become a favorite of mine.
