This is the first time I bought ELF products, I was very hesitant because of the cheap prices. But I was wrong. I brought the primer, concealer and foundation all from ELF. I took it with me for a trip across 5 countries and used it daily. From Dubai, to Pakistan and Taiwan, Japan, China, and back it was good. Best part I got loads of compliments on how natural it looked on me and it was perfect with my skin tone. I have combination skin with pinkish/red undertones in my skin. I used fair for foundation and the green bottle primer. I highly recommend it, and you can't go wrong if it doesn't work for you because it's inexpensive. I'm here to buy another for my upcoming trip!! :)

Great Coverage!

I was looking for a cream that provides light coverage, as I do not like the caked on feeling of some creams, and this is perfect. It gave me a light glow to my skin and it looks like I'm wearing nothing at all! I love it. It also has a nice light scent.

Perfect coverage!

I am pretty fair during the winter and I get what you could call a flushed or rosy "tan" during the summer months.  Okay, I never really tan but I get kind of darker.  Anyway, I purchased two of the BB creams to try.  I bought the Fair for winter months and the Buff for summer.  

When the products arrived, I quickly hurried off to try my new cream.  I always shake the container really well to make sure any oils etc have blended since I've no clue how long things might have been upside down in shipping.  So, I pump and pump and pump the little dispenser and finally (yay!) my BB cream starts to come out.  I tried the Fair color first.  I was immediately surprised at how thick the cream seemed to be and when I applied it to my face, I was even more surprised at the amount of blending required and the level of coverage.  Normally, the BB creams I've used in the past are really sheer and not very good at providing any sort of coverage.  Well this product does and I am really, really happy with the results.  It blends (I use my e.l.f. small stipple brush) out quite well yet it leaves a very nice finish.  And it is not at all greasy on my combination skin.  

I later tried the Buff color and found it to be pretty dark for me (but I am really fair ... lol) but after I applied my powders, bronzer and blush, I found the darker shade to be really nice and very appropriate for summer tan look.  

Be prepared for a thicker, heavier coverage product with this BB cream.  I am giving it a full five stars because it is a new "adore it" product.  Oh!  I almost forgot to say this:  My decollete area stays pretty red for some unknown reason and I have started applying this BB cream to that area as well ... over my tone correcting e.l.f. green primer and I get a nice even tone and it blends away the redness!   

Very happy and I've got two more of these in my shopping bag right this minute.  I'm still shopping ... lol.

Really enjoying this product ...

Started to use this a week and a half a go, and my skin looks glowing and great! Just the right coverage to get rid of my flaws...some brown spots, blemishes, imperfections...and has really helped with the clarity of my skin! I have fair skin, need to watch the sun rays due my father dying of skin cancer, and being prone to this as well. I use the spf 45 powder on top and my skin looks heavenly and is protected! My only wish is to someday have this match the spf protection of the powder to really help protect the skin from damage. This is a must have and I already purchased more to have on hand! Such a bargain! I have tried many foundations, mineral-liquid-BB creams-you name it...many, many high end brands paying upward to 90% more than this great product! I use the fair to highlight around cheeks, nose and eyes, and a darker foundation color to contrast. Works amazing! Seems to last all day without having to touch up. Leave at 8am home by 5pm and all I need to do is put a little more powder on! I will continue to buy this product. THANKS ELF:) LOVE IT!!!!!

THIS ONE IS A "WOW" FACTOR PRODUCT

I bought this with the thought I will just try it out - I love other ELF products, I had nothing to lose, especially with the price.  This stuff is amazing.  I have used MANY high end BB creams and foundations, and this one is just as good, if not better than my high end go to.  I get coverage, the dewey-ness I like, it doesn't settle in my fine lines, goes on smoothly and there isn't any odd smell, like so many others!  I highly recommend this product!  Another reason I adore ELF is that they are cruelty free!  Keep up the good work, ELF!

Coverage and other great qualities

I purchased this product in February and I have used it twice since I received it. Honestly it is not the correct color for my complexion, but there are not many color choices to choose from. I love the feel of the product and would purchase again if I could find closer to my complexion.

Lightweight feel and great coverage

Hey everyone, here is the deal, I am incredibly pale and this product works (shade; the lightest one). I am in fact so pale that i am not able to use any other foundation/concealer type item from ELF (or really any other place, even MAC's lightest foundation is too dark). Here is what you need to know about this BB cream....
1. it's pretty much a sheer/medium coverage foundation- I have acne scarring and this stuff covered mine almost completely
2. they have a pretty large range of colours- my darker friends have bought them as well and they seem to like the colours they have
3. this is pretty sticky but its nothing some sort of powder can't fix (that's how i dealt with mine)
4. This is a dewy finish product- almost shiny on my combination skin
5. THIS IS WORTH THE PRICE, the bottle will last me for a long time.

Summary.... This is a solid product, give it a shot.

CERTAINLY DOES THE JOB

I bought two colors. I am biracial and have very light brown skin with a yellow undertone. My skin is usually ok, not a lot of blemishes. The skin on my face has some reddish patches. I wanted something to even out my skin tone, and this BB cream does that. I had an usually bad break out recently, and this doesn't completely cover the blemishes or the pimple scar I got last week. I didn't buy it for that purpose, though, and truthfully it covers them much better than I thought it would.

The swatches on the website are completely wrong, though. I agonized over which colors to get before a friend told me this goes on very light, so the colors don't have to be exact. I ordered both nude and beige, and my friend was correct; both work and look fine.

I know some people don't like the yellow undertone, but it is crucial for me in any foundation or tinted moisturizer. This probably looks the most natural of anything I've ever worn. I think instead of trying to get rid of it, creating another one with a pink overtone would serve everyone better.

Con: While this does go on light, for some reason it feels heavy, and when I first put it on it stung a little bit. 

Very Nice- needs better swatches

I was so excited to get this because i was in the need of a cheaper foundation. When i found this product, I was overjoyed so I got it so i could try it. Overall it isn't terrible, it works for my skin, and the color works with my skintone (i got it in nude). My only true complaint is the pump and the way i received it. For me, the pump doesn't work at all so everytime i use it I have to unscrew it and use it that way. Also when i got the package in the mail, the top of the box that it came it was open and the foundation was half out of it. 

I ordered this a month ago and I kind of wish that I hadnt. I ordered the darkest shade and it STILL wasnt dark enough. Online, it looks like the perfect shade for my skin but when I opened it, it was WAY too light. I even checked to make sure that I ordered the correct shade. DO NOT TRUST THE SWATCHES. Although it said dark, it really looks more like the shade before that, which is medium. I must say that it does have good coverage & smell. I just wish that e.l.f. studios would add darker colors for black girls, and not cater to pale to medium girls, as lots of makeup companies do.

Not true to swatches!

Bought this in Dark (I usually wear Almond in Flawless Foundation). It looks like mud on my skin. The undertone is too pink/beige and ends up giving an ashy cast. The delivery system leaves something to be desired and the coverage is streaky at best. Not a fan of this one e.l.f.
