Can be precise for some skin tones, but may not match expectations for others.

I searched long and hard to find this product because I have been a fan for years. The case is nicely made, appealing, comes with an internal mirror and makeup pad. The powder itself is compressed and fine. I apply the product with a brush lightly over my regular foundation to bring back more of my olive/tan tone which most foundations don't accurately capture. The powder is a very nice color and texture and I would definitely recommend it.

I bought this a long time ago and lost it so of course i had to buy it again. I truly recommend it! It takes away shine and leaves you with a matt finish. It is great for when you dont want to wear foundation, especially if your like me and dont wear much makeup.

I wish I had purchased in a store, but I ordered it through the mail. It came completely broken up, but since I didn't get it as a compact, that didn't matter that much. I do have to keep it upright or it becomes a mess. Even with all that, this setting powder is as good as the very expensive powder I got through the big name cosmetic site. I'm 64, with terrible dark circles and wrinkles. This powder sets my concealer and does not crease. Very pleased with this purchase!

Great Setting Powder

so when this product released i bought 1. less than 3 weeks later i hit pan already! this is a great holy grail product. very versitile-sets any foundation flawlessly.  what gets me is that its very sheer yet it holds makeup in place. love this so much just ordered 6 more. the balancing pearls are my favorite too

better than expected

I absolutely LOVED this powder. Used it everyday religiously! I miss it so much!! I've tried and tried to find some kind of dupe or replacement and it's just impossible! 
I'm with everyone else here, PLEASE bring it back! PLEASE! 
And in the different tint shades!! I loved medium/dark!

I got this powder in the light/medium shade as I have been a medium shade my whole life.  It is way too dark for me and makes me look like I am wearing a mask!  Too bad because I really liked the texture of this powder.  I am going to try a lighter shade and I really hope it works!

Kind of dark

I really wasn't expecting much with this since most complexion products just look like baking flour on my skin. I have sensitive combination oily skin and while this didn't give me much coverage (sheer definitively like described) it did give my skin a blurred appearance and felt so silky soft and did not look cakey or overly powdery. I also do not need to constantly reapply throughout the day which is also great. It comes with a thin spongy applicator which I use if i toss into my bag, but this also applies well with a fluffy brush.

I had low expectations but was impressed

I should have gotten a loose finishing powder, as I think it works better.  This one is very solid and hard to use properly without adding water to the sponge.  It IS very matte, which is great.

I got this powder recently and it works just fine, like any other setting powder that adds a bit of color. It's not anything amazing in my opinion, but the biggest con is the smell. I don't know if I got a bad powder or if it normally smells this way, but it smells exactly like dried up urine. If you have animals, you know this smell. I know it's not my makeup brushes because I recently washed them, keep my animals away from my stash, and I smelled the powder itself. It's the powder! It's only during the application process that I can smell it, but for an unspectacular powder, I won't be repurchasing.

It's okay, but the smell...

I got this hoping to use it to set my liquid foundation (Maybelline Matte & Poreless) instead of a translucent powder,as some other people here used it as a setting powder too. It made my foundation look cakey after only a few hours of using it. I'm also sad to say that after a few days of using it I started breaking out badly on my cheeks and forehead, and I'm not even acne prone, I have dry-combo skin.

Sad to give a bad review of this product since I had high hopes for this and e.l.f. is one of my favorite drugstore brands and I own many of their products. Unfortunately will not be purchasing again.
