I've been using this mascara over my regular mascara because my eyes water from allergies or in the winter when it's cold out. It makes my lashes appear fuller and is a true waterproof mascara. I have bought this many times. It washes off easily with makeup remover. The price is great. You can't go wrong with Elf!

Pretty much the only waterproof mascara I will use or recommend.   Provides excellent volume and length without drying out my lashes. No issues with clumping or adding another layer well after it's dried down.

GOAT of waterproof mascara

i love this mascara. i use the waterproof version, stays on all day and doesn't smudge. comes off easy with cleanser. the brush is huge and fluffy, thats what got me hooked! good price.

I don't often leave product reviews, but was so impressed with this mascara that I feel like I need to. I don't wear a lot of makeup, so on the odd occasion that I need it, I often buy new products so that they're fresh, since most of what I own is at least several years old; I am also a fan of e.l.f. products, so I prefer to buy their brand if and when I do need new makeup. This time around, I had a funeral to attend, and I knew in advance that it would be an emotional event with a lot of tears. Waterproof mascara, in my experience, has always been hit or miss, but e.l.f. Big Mood waterproof held up in the North Dakota wind and rain, even after several hours of very involved ugly-crying. No running, no smudging, this stuff didn't budge. It was easily removed when the time came with a basic makeup remover wipe. I have low standards when it comes to choosing makeup, so if you are a makeup enthusiast maybe take this review with a grain of salt, but for someone who needed an inexpensive, waterproof mascara on short notice, this was a life saver.

Wonderfully Waterproof

This mascara goes on beautifully (though it did take me a few tries to get comfortable with its unique brush), making even my sparse lashes look full and lush.  For me, it also has a curling effect.  Best of all, it stays put through watery eyes, teary eyes, sweat-in-the-eyes and rubbing the eyes!  This is the best mascara I've found in a long time.  And it's cruelty free, which is a must for me.  Thanks to elf for a fantastic product!

I love, love, love this mascara!!  I usually buy two at a time because waterproof is hard to find.  It isn't even hard to take off with makeup remover but while on my lashes it dosent flake!  In highly recommend it, especially for the price!  Better than the expensive brands I used to use!

Great Mascara

This is my go to and have tried many different price points. I like the texture and volume for my eyelashes. It is not thoroughly water proof for me.n the way my eyes and bone structure are shaped.Also use a heavier face cream for my age.  I get transfer to my eyes lids if too long.

Great "Go To"

I enjoy this make up going on smoothly and thickly per coat. I just wished it had longer lasting waterproofing than it does. Overall I'm glad I made this purchase choice. Also fyi I have Alpha-gal Syndrome and getting a mascara that doesn't make my eyes itch is something I completely love about this brand.

AGS FRIENDLY ITEM

Mediocre. It really didn't give me any outstanding volume. The brush was a nightmare. The tip of the wand/brush is vey full and round. It was terrible trying to use it on the eyelashes at the inner corners of my eyes. It either was poking my eyeball  or it would get mascara on my eyelid beside my nose. Definitely not a fan of the huge full round tip on the brush☹️

I PURCHASED A COUPLE OF THESE MASCARA'S AFTER READING THE REVIEWS. I USED IT A FEW DAYS AGO BUT IN ORDER TO BUILD YOUR LASHES UP YOU HAVE TO KEEP APPLYING. JUST CLUMPED.
