I love elf face primers they feel like silk on my face and don't cost a lot I use them along with my skin care products and wrinkle creams instead of makeup because the soft moisturizing feeling they leave on your face I recommend all elf primers

This is soooo good, but it will pill if you rub it in  too much.  You have to rub it in, in one round, then I gently pat or tap it in.  It will soak in.  Let it dry and soak in for a minute or 2. I've got it down now and I love it.  I have problems with acne and it  has helped my skin tremendously.  I use it with the Holy Hydration serum first. The combo is so good.  I'm 51 and it makes my makeup glide on.  It also controls the oil throughout the day.  I even put it on before I go to bed.  My skin feels so good in the morning.  It's a primer so it's supposed to be a little sticky to grip your make up.  After it soaks in, it's a perfect consistency.  Love!!!!

Be patient and gentle…..it's amazing.

I love this primer! Not only does it go on incredibly smooth and velvety, but it helps prevent my breakouts. Makeup looks great applied on top, but it also is a great product to wear alone as it helps minimize oil & shine!

I have never used primer on my face until now. I love all e.l.f. products and wanted to try the primer.  I bought this one specifically to help with breakouts. It really does work and helps keep my makeup on my face. I will definitely keep buying this product.

Great product

I bought this a few days ago and was very excited about it. Unfortunately I cannot use it without it peeling, my concealer peeling, and my foundation. They end up in little pills all over my face. Why is this happening??

WHY DOES IT PEEL

I bought this product so much on because bottle this presents at first glance full size 3 inches what is needed because if you remove motto the pump you would see that it is only a quarter of an inch that contains the bottle very small quantity inside be careful when you buy a product and you do not see inside.

No matter what I do this primer will not stay on my skin. If I put makeup on top of it or even rub it into my skin even a little too much it clumps up and makes it impossible to have a smooth base. This product sucks, do not buy it.

I cannot wear makeup with this primer

I only wear on my chin and upper lip and I've had it pill under everything. I've tried both water-based and silicone-based skin tints and foundations and it pills each and every darn time. What's it supposed to be a primer for?!

I got both this primer and contour for a Xmas present because I suffered with acne all the way through my teens. It was a lot better but I always struggled finding an acne safe brand. I thought elf was because it was promoted as an acne safe brand and products on socials. It was lovely for the first few days but then my acne really badly flared. I tried to swap out all my other makeup steps hoping that it wasn't my new elf products as I wanted them to work, but I stopped using the primer and liquid contour from elf and my acne has improved but my scars are still visible. I'm really disappointed and I feel like this product has been misadvertised.
