I love spraying this all over my face and neck. So refreshing, and makes my makeup last all day. Very happy ELF didn't raise the price so I can continue to repurchase and recommend to friends and family.

Best Hydrating Primer for the price

On it's own I think this primer mist is decent (it is certainly better than the much more expensive Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water), but I've found better results by spraying a few sprays of this hydrating primer into my hand along with a dollop of the silicone based E.l.f. Tone Adjusting Primer, mixing them around a little with my finger, and then I quickly apply all over my face before makeup.  Then before I apply foundation I spray my make up sponge with the Hydrating Primer Mist and apply foundation with the sponge dampened with the primer mist, and after everything is done I set with powder and use make up setting spray.  

     Using these two primers together has made a HUGE difference in how long my make up lasts and looks decent. Sadly I have sun damaged, aging, yet acne prone skin, and I have several areas of discoloration, peeling, & healing skin, where I have to use a maximum coverage makeup & concealer and apply with a brush to deal with and cover them.  Using this spray mist plus the tone adjusting primer together has helped my make up go on better, makes it blend more seamlessly, and it has increased the wear time substantially.  This has greatly reduced my anxiety about what is going on with my make up during my work shift.  It also decreases imperfections and improves the look of my skin so much so that I now dilute my all over foundation with serum and then go back and just use full coverage on the problem areas.  
  
   It is a relief to be able to tone down the make up a little as I was looking awfully garish, and it's embarrassing to look so covered when everyone else is looking more barefaced and translucent during the summer months.  Now I still look made up, but it looks much lighter and reasonable when outside.  My make up even looked not-so-terrible after a 20 mile bike ride on at 90+ degree high humidity day last week.  Woo hoo!  
     Oh, one Afterthought Warning: the spray nozzle on this is near violent and is actually just horrible.  Windex comes out softer.  My only complaint, but since I spray it into my hand & directly onto my make up sponge (vs. spraying right onto my face) it doesn't really bother me.   

     Long story, but short of it is that I'm very glad I decided to try this primer and highly recommend.   A great value and great performance.

Great how I use it

I bought this on a whim while I was looking for other stuff at Target. The pump does suck and you get way more then you really need. The product though, it's pretty freaking awesome! I've been looking and looking for a good primer that doesn't bother my skin and keeps my makeup looking good all day. I've tried NARS, Urban Decay, Becca, Julep and none of them have achieved what I want them to with my skin/makeup. This stuff is great! It actually holds my makeup in place all day and makes more pores look smaller. It feels nice on the skin and doesn't irritate me or make me breakout.

Best Primer I've Ever Used

I got a makeover at an elf store and the girl used this because i was looking for a new primer, I loved it so I bought it. Its very hydrating, my makeup stays on well with it. I just dont like the sprayer part, its more like a stream so I have to use a brush but it works just fine with the brush.

Hydrating, Works well, sprayer sucks

I like the formula...only the bottle is not made for what this is trying to do. I only use one setting spray and thats not going to change. I was more interested in the primer aspect. I went to "mist" my face, and goodness gracious lol after spreading it around with my hands, it dried very quickly and gives a light tackiness to the face. Great for powder foundation days. Lasted well. New spray bottle and its an amazing primer spray.

This product sprays on in a very direct and thick way. Do not spray over top of your makeup, it will completely ruin it. I was hoping to use this as a setting spray but it comes out like I'm spraying a hose of water on my face. On the upside I spray this on my face before I go to bed as a moisturizer, because it is very moisturizing and I spray my beauty blender with it to dampen it before using it to apply my foundation.

Not what I was expecting

So, I feel like this product would be a lot easier to review it the bottle simply did what it said, "mist." I just used this for the first time and ended up putting the product in my hand and spreading it around, rather then berating myself in the face with primer. I'm likely going to find an empty misting bottle somewhere go transfer to product to that instead.

I do feel like the primer works really well. However, I shouldn't have to work so hard to apply it. Mist should be time saving. If I wanted to apply product by hand, I would have purchased a cream primer. Fix the bottle and this would be a 5.

Does not "mist"

I purchased this product shortly before delivering my first child; I wanted a hydrating product that would not stir up facial bacteria and would be easy to apply. This formula is seriously fantastic. My skin is sensitive, and I haven't experienced any issues with this product. The formula is moisturizing and smooth; I really enjoy it! However, the spray nozzle is absolutely ridiculous. I need to extend my arm the furthest I can, and I still get blasted with product (both force and lack of precision), which makes me hesitant to repurchase this product.

I was really excited to try this product so when it finally came back in stock I bought it immediately! I have to say im pretty disappointed with this one, e.l.f.

When you spray the product it doesn't come out as a mist, but more of a stream, which only covers a small 1" section when it hits the face. Not good for a overall, even, application. I also found that this leaves a 'film' on my skin, and when I wear it under my makeup the foundation separates and looks splotchy on my face. I love pretty much everything e.l.f. makes but this primer mist was definitely a bust for me.

Disappointed

This is just 1 fl oz. It's roughly the same price as Urban Decay or Skindinavia's products. NYX's primer spray is the same price but you get twice the amount. Those have a far, far better mister bottle. Go get them. You have to watch for ELF's pricing because while some are great deals, many of their products are not inexpensive once you figure out the amount of product you end up getting. This is ridiculous.

WAY overpriced
