I bought this primer because I have combination skin and the dry parts were really becoming an issue. After a week of using this primer after using Lacura Hydrating Facial Cleanser, my skin is noticeably smoother and makeup application is far better. Thumbs up from me!

Smooth as Butter

I usually like to go for a nice hydrating primer to prep my skin for makeup. This primer has surprisingly decent ingredients and I was surprised by the thick, opaque creamy texture. Feels really nice going onto the skin, very hydrating, and when the product is absorbed enough is left on the skin to give it a good grip, perfect for applying makeup. It plumps the skin but also does seem to have a slight blurring/filling property which is most welcome on my very textured skin. It reminds me of the glossier moisturizing primer but thicker and better for makeup application.

Definitely "Moisture Lock"

I have very dry, acne-prone skin. This primer has done an amazing job of hydrating my skin without causing any breakouts. I still use a separate moisturizing serum before this. Its super tacky for a few minutes, but sets down after that. I wear it under the Beautifully Bare Foundation.

this primer is amazing for those of us with dry combo skin. this primer not only hydrates the skin but keeps my makeup on all day and i have never tried a primer as good as this one even from high end brands! if you have combo skin and have issues with your makeup breaking up in your t zone, i would highly recommend this primer! i like this one specifically as opposed to the other long wear primer that is similar to this one which is too sticky for most people. give the moisture lock a try! and you cant beat it for that price

holy grail!!!

I've never noticed much when using a primer, but this one is a visible difference. It's a cream but when put on the skin it feels like it's really sticking on there. It feels nice and I really believe it helps my makeup last all day

Great primer!

This might be my favorite primer of all time. I have dry skin and this truly keeps my skin hydrated for hours but yet it's smooth like a primer. A little goes a long way, picked this up from Walmart!

so smooth and hydrating

I have under eye wrinkles that show up under makeup due to dryness. Nothing works to keep that area hydrated. This works over my ELF oil control lotion.

I have extremely oily skin so I was skeptical at first because it say moisture lock but i love it makes my makeup last and it feels good on the skin

Great for oily skin

I purchased this online because the 'moisture lock' feature intrigued me. The primer that I normally use is Dr. Brandt pores no more Luminizer. It is the only primer that works for me. But I thought I would give this one a try. It comes in a nice, sleek black tube with a pump applicator which I like. You get over an ounce of product and it smells pretty benign. The product does not have a silicone slip to it. It applies evenly, is not super tacky and does not leave a weird white cast. I did notice a slight blurring effect but nothing huge. I applied this primer after my moisturizer and then put foundation and natural makeup on top. My face stayed nicely hydrated all day. Now, we have been having a huge heat wave here with high humidity so I have been perspiring quite a bit and I was impressed as to how well this locked in my makeup. I did have a bit of breakup on my chin about six hours into wear time, but that is where I normally experience problems and a quick touch up fixed my look.  That is the only reason for 4 stars. However, I still recommend this primer but only if you have dry skin. If you have oily skin, probably not the best for your skin type. Good value, does the job and the price is great.

Good for Dry Skin

I wanted to love this. I bought it jus give it a try since I have dry skin but sadly it cracked my foundation around my nose and accentuate fine lines. I went back to my usual hydration ELF primer which I love.
