Awesome Brush Set

I highly recommend it to anyone looking for brushes that deliver professional results without the professional price tag.

This set is all you need for a stunning makeup look! I adore elf brushes! Cruelty free and vegan, but also soo affordable! I can never go back to spending 45+ for one brush! These are so soft and well made. After many many washings these brushes still blend seamlessly and never shed!

The only brushes you need!

Just got this in the mail and I loved them! They are so firm and the sponge is so soft! I've gotten a few sets from other brands but the brushes aren't always firm to apply things like foundation or concealer. They only loose a point because they had a strong new smell (if you're sensitive to such things) but other than that they're amazing!

Firm brushes

This is a great basic set, it has everything you need to do an entire look. I like the look and feel of the handles. This would be great to learn on, or for someone that doesn't want to spend a lot of money. Personally the bristles weren't what I'd prefer. They were less dense than I'd like and I don't know how they'll hold up longterm.

Great intro set

I have been testing this kit since early May. My goal was to replace some questionably old makeup brushes that I've been using forever. I had some successes and some "eh"s.

Breakdown:
The foundation and primer brushes are a win. I'm able to apply liquid and powder formulas to my face without issues, and the scoop on the primer is super useful if you have long nails. They do a great job blending without removing product. 

The blush brush and concealer brush are honestly my biggest gripe. The blush brush doesn't blend liquid blushes well (I've been using an elf one too) because it is too flimsy, and you need more of a firm brush. It works with powder blush and would probably be better suited for powder highlighter. Same thing with the concealer brush, it does more of a painting action than a blend or stipple. Both leave patches of color and lines. I'm tempted to see if cutting the brush hairs shorter makes them work better.

The blending/powder brush is far too big for me to use, I suppose it's good for an all-face powder application but if you're just trying to get your T-zone then the sponge is a more precise tool. I would have traded this for another eyeshadow brush, maybe one for applying glitter eyeshadow. 

The eyeshadow brushes are great. They pick up product well, and blend easily. I wish I had one more but I am happy with the two I have. 

The spoolie/angled brush combo are also cool, although I never know how to keep it in my makeup brush cup. The angled brush is good for powder eyeliner and the spoolie is good for eyebrows/eyelashes.

The curved eyeliner brush is one I haven't reached for much, but I rely mostly on my eyeliner pencils for application. It is great for blending out eyeliner to a sharp wing, or smudging it for a smokey eye.

I have been hearing good things about elf brushes but I have never tried them before. I received this kit to review, I'm so impressed!! This will be staying in my collection! I love how soft and easy the brush's are to work with leaving no streak marks and no shedding of the brushes. They definitely are great quality. I used the sponge to apply my foundation because I haven't used a sponge in a minute, I loved how soft and bouncy the sponge was and didn't feel like it was soaking as much product up. Leaving the finish of the foundation to look flawless. I would definitely buy!! You can't beat the price point either for good quality brushes!
