I almost didn't buy these because I'm a neutral light/medium olive skin tone and I tend to only look good in jewel/pink tones. Also, I have mild acne scarring on my cheeks, so I tend to avoid shimmery/glittery face products. The colors in these compacts compliment each other and although these have shimmer, it's not noticeable at all. I'm dead serious--there isn't even a subtle radiant glow; they blend out matte and you can only see flecks of shimmer if you get up close and look hard. Another pro is that it doesn't cake or accentuate the flakiness of my dry skin. I own single color. They are so flattering on any skin tone and I'm stocking up on these bad boys.

fantastic little duos!

I have these in St. Lucia and Turks and Caicos. I have very pale skin and both sets work well for me and create entirely different effects. The Turks & Caicos is very neutral looking on me, while the St. Lucia is a bit brighter. The key to using these bronzers if you are very light skinned is to only use a tiny amount. I literally lightly tap my brush once on the bronzer and that will be enough. You can always repeat the process to build up the color. but if you're pale start very gently, because it's highly pigmented! Anyway they are both very lovely shades and very easy to use.

St. Lucia and Turks & Caicos

I bought the studio contouring blush & bronzing powder duo in St. Lucia, and I will be honest, I did not love it at first. I bought it over the summer and I used it a few times and then put it in the back of my collection. I did not use it until about a month ago when I was rummaging through my makeup and saw it way in the back of one of my drawers. I decided to try it out for the night and I quickly fell in love. My only reasoning behind this sudden change of heart is maybe because I am a lighter shade now in the winter than I was in the summer, but this duo is the only thing I have been wearing on my face since that night about a month ago. The bronzer is the perfect shade for a natural bronzing of the cheeks and forehead, and the blush complements the bronzer so well. I can definitely say this is one of my favorites for the winter, and I am excited to try it again in the summer to see if my mind has changed when I am darker, too.

I personally prefer matte formulas of blush and bronzer and was so excited about the new matte version of this in Fiji I think it was called but is gone now. What happened? I was going to pick it up next time I made an order.

What happened to Fiji (matte one)?!?

I really love the packaging of this duo and the giant mirror included! The only problem that I have with this duo that I wish that it was completely matte because the shimmer makes my skin look a little oily. Other than that, these colors are amazing and look totally natural on me!

I like this product a lot but i think i will prefer it if the brown color is a little more matte.--- i recommend ELF to all of my family

I have the Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in the shade St. Lucia. The blush is a standard pink with gold glitter and the bronzer is a warm brown with gold glitter. Both have a silky texture and good pigmentation.

I originally purchased this product specifically for the brown shade, which I intended to use as a contour, but unfortunately the product is too glittery for this. I also found that it's difficult to blend and can appear muddy if it's not applied with a light hand. I still think it could work well as an all over bronzer in the summer, but it's definitely too warm and reflective to use as a contour.

The blush was a pleasant surprise. I was wary of the glitter, (and the glitter can be a problem if you apply it too heavily), but overall it gives a nice golden pink sheen which compliments my medium olive skin tone. It's very similar to Candid Coral, only slightly darker with less of a golden sheen. Again, you have to be careful with your application, as both products in this duo seem to really stick to the skin when applied and are difficult budge after that. The upside to that is they both have pretty good lasting power.

Overall I'd say this product is just okay. The colors are nice, especially the blush, as long as you use a light hand. My biggest issue is the amount of glitter and the blendability. If you're looking for an everyday blush and contour color, this is not the duo for you. However if you're looking for a blush and all over bronzer for summer, this is a good product. I don't regret buying it, but I would not repurchase.

It's just okay.

I bought Turks and Caios and I really like it. It is highly pigmented and just the right color. I would not recommend attempting to use the bronzer for contour, it is very shimmery. It is best used with a light hand to get a light application. I use the blush as a highlight, however, it is not the same color in the pan as on the website. In my opinion, the one I purchased is best for tan/medium/deep/dark complexions. Looks great on my NC42 complexion. I would recommend to anyone, experienced or not...doesn't matter....it's a personal preference.

I like the color....but....

Wow-y... This bronzer showed me the meaning of looking 'muddy'. It is SUPER PIGMENTED. one tap with my brush and it looked like I was wearing war paint. Plus it's very glittery which is not cute if you're trying contour.  I think it could be ok if it didn't have glitter and if it wasn't so powdery. I feel like that's why it's so easy to pick up so much product. Wouldn't recommend.
