After watching a youtube video where this was used to fill in eyebrows, I tried it myself. It is AMAZING for brows. I use the color chocolate and the color lasts my entire school day. I have heartbreakingly thin brows but a stranger would never know with me using this >:)

I have been using this eyeliner periodically for several years now.
Mostly, I use stick eyeliner, because it takes me less time to apply, but I use this cream (black, navy, plum, or coffee) when I want to look more bold and have a bit more time to get ready.
A lot of people have posted about their product drying out. If it came this way, from e.l.f., then it is understandable that you'd be upset. However, if it dries out while in your possession, it is because you didn't put the lid on properly. I had the same problem with the first pot I got; I thought I put the lid on tight, but it was actually crooked and so air got to it and dried it out.
I have had my plum color for over two years now and it is still perfectly creamy. You just have to be sure to put the lid on right.

This eyeliner is very pigmented. If it's sheer on you, you are smoothing it out too much/wiping too much of it off. I have never had any problems with this eyeliner being sheer.
Also, it stays on all day. It will smudge if you rub it hard, but I've never had any eyeliner that wouldn't.
I can't believe people are complaining that it is hard to take off. Makeup is supposed to stay on until you use makeup remover to remove it. Sure, bad quality makeup will come off with water and a towel, but you shouldn't want that if you want good makeup. I use cheap makeup remover and this eyeliner comes off easily every time.

Overall, I think this eyeliner is a great product. The brush some to loses bristles, but I have never had any problems with the eyeliner itself.
Give it a try. It's inexpensive, of good quality, and cruelty-free, and those are the only things that should matter to any broke compassionate person. :)

I don't understand the negative reviews.

I bought this eyeliner in the color ivory and i love it!!! that i just went out and ordered more before the ivory color gets discontinued, it goes on smoothly and lasts all day and night!! am sad that they will be discontinued, i wish it wouldnt! but cool thing is that it comes with a little brush to apply it with

Honestly, I made this purchase because of the price but I will repurchase because it is a quality product. Prior to discovering this little treasure, finding eyeliner of any variety was a letdown. Now I want to collect most of the colors available because it's easy to apply, smooth, and doesn't crack or rub off. I can't even cry this stuff off (and I cry even when I laugh really hard)!!!

A Found Treasure

I had read reviews for this and was really excited to get a new gel liner. My store was out of black so I decided to buy the coffee. I have medium to dark toned skin and the eyeliner did not really show up on my skin when I tried to use it to make a wing but I later tried using it on my brows and fell in love. It is really easy it get a smooth defined brow especially with the angled brush. I can't wait to try it in black and see how it stands up as an actual liner though.

Wrong color new use!

this is the first gel liner I've tried and it was kind of my last hope. I've tried liquid, pencil, and a couple other kinds of liner but this is so smooth and easy to apply! amazing pigmentation, and the angled brush is perfect too!:D 10/10 would recommend!<3

It is so amazing! It's a very creamy texture and very easy to apply I would just recommend using a different eyeliner brush but the one it comes with isn't that bad. It last all day I have a hard time taking it off at night!

So I usually use maybeline cream eye liner and I was getting pretty low. I just happen to see this cream eye liner in black and I thought I would give it a try not really expecting it to be as good as the one I use. Well it turns out that it worked way better than the maybeline for me. It goes on very smooth and it stays on longer for me. I didn't care for the brush it came with. It was too big for me so I just use the one I have that came with the maybeline eye liner. definitely a product I will continue to use and buy in the future.

To those whose eyeliner has dried out, just mix in 2 - 3 drops of eye drops, mix it up and use a q-tip to clean up the messy pot. Easy peasy.

Revive dried out eyeliner with eye drops

I bought three different shades of this, coffee, plum purple and punk purple.
While the coffee and plum were fine and had a nice creamy texture, the punk purple was totally dried up and completely unusable. It was so dry it fell right out of the container! The other two seem fine, however and have a good consistency. I do wish they came with somewhere to put the brush instead of having it free-floating though.

2 out of 3 were good
