Before using this product, i used covergirl outlast liquid matte lipstick for years. I tried other lipsticks but i always stuck with that one because it lasted so long. Well im a huge fan of elf, and have been trying new products of theres and thought i'd try this. Im so glad i did!! It is lightweight, doesnt crumble up (just make sure to not use too much product at once and let dry between coats) and lasts longer than covergirl outlast! I am so happy with this product! Im buying other colors as we speak! The pic shows what it looks like in tea rose. I do recommend priming an exfoliating lips before use for best results. Tea rose is more brown than pink, so i paired it with elfs dark brown lip liner (the one that is the liner and blending brush duo)

Woahhhh elf. I think this is your best product yet. It is super creamy and it dries pretty quickly! The applicator makes it so easy to apply because of its pointy tip. You really can't tell it's on your lips, it's so lightweight and comfortable.
It doesn't come off when you rub on it and it's definitely waterproof. 
The packaging is so simple and sleek.
I bought Praline and it is pretty much the same color as the Matte Lip Color. I am SO impressed. Please add more colors! I'm a huge fan!

I bought the Vampy Violet shade and was pleasantly surprised. It took 2 coats and i really loved the angled brush for precision. It dried down very quickly and had a nice smooth finish. I went to a winterfestival today and this lippy survived hard ciders and hot chocolate without leaving any color on my mugs. Most of the day I forgot I was even wearing anything because it felt so smooth, not drying or heavy at all. Only con was that it faded in the inner lip area but that's to be expected I think. It had a smooth fade in those areas with no patchy pieces left behind. For the price I don't think there's anything else out there that's comparable. (and if there is let me know plz)

Perfect for the price

I bought this looking for a perfect nude… let me tell you it's the perfect nude! So far wear is great and not slipping off once it's set. I will be reordering when I need more!

Amazing!

Easy to apply, light weight, true to color (same as matte lip color product), and wipes off easily with a little coconut oil.  It's does not make my lips sticky or dry. I highly recommend this product.

Love this product!

I'm in love with the actual formula!  I have naturally dry lips but I'm still able to use this lipstick without it making my lips look dry.  Literally my ONLY complaint is that once the lipstick is dry, it's actually a completely different color than what it looks like inside of the bottle.  I have the colors tea rose, blushing rose, and marvelous.  They all turn into a weird purple-ish color.  Not at all what they look like on the website or bottle.  Still good though. (The one photographed is blushing rose)

Great formula but weird colors after dry

It is a bit drying, but it is a good product. My only real complaint is that because it is drying, once it is on I cannot rub my lips together. However, it is non transferable and does not smear once it is on. Most products that stay in place are hard to remove with a makeup wipe, but I have not had any troubles with that.! It seems to work well when eating, but will come off if I take too many drinks or it comes into contact with any liquids. Overall a great product and would definitely purchase it again! <3

Good Product!

As u see in the pictures red vixen isn't necessarily a “true” red, it is more pink based, similar to los anjealous by DOC. Almost fuschia in some lighting. 

I do not mind the color though, I love the way it looks on me. The formula is a typical liquid lipstick formula, however it is VERY DRYING. Make sure to exfoliate ur lips / wear chapstick before applying!

Pretty nice

Recieved this matte lip in Praline about a week ago. The color is dead on to the other shades of Praline. It goes on easy and stays strong for most of the day and touch-ups arr easy unlike some long lasting lip colors of other brands I can't wait for more colors!!!

Great buy

I tried this on in the shade Smokey taupe and it was pretty disappointing. The colour was AMAZING and if you're really desperate to have this shade in ur collection, then by all means it's wearable, you'll just have to put up with every wrinkly on ur lips showing! I did one layer and when it dried down ( 1 layer dries down quick and fully ) there were lots of patchy parts, I did a second layer and while it dried down fully, it started flaking off like dust; not only that but it excaserbated the issue with he wrinkles even more. I wasn't very impressed with the formula at all. There are many many other matte liquid lips out there that are more worthwhile. If you so get this, do it for the colour alone. Otherwise it feels and looks like clay or paint on your lips. Very very cheap feeling. 

P.s. I tried it with a moisturizer underneath and it didn't dry down fully but it did help with the wrinkles a TINY TINY bit.
