I work outside all year long.  Even though I sweat in the summer, my makeup holds up.  This goes on smooth and does not adversely affect my sensitive skin.  I let it set for a few minutes and then put on makeup.  I do also use ELF setting spray. Great combination!

I would just use this on the areas where you're very oily like your cheeks on your nose and around your eyebrows it's very drying and that's where I get oily but I want to use it on areas where your skin is dry because it's hard to move it around It's very much absorbs the oil on your skin and I work long hours at my job about 9 to 10 hours so my skin looks fine when I come home.

It works

I would recommend elf to any woman. It is one of the best products on the market, even though it's less expensive than other cosmetics this is still quality make up and I recommended to anybody.

this is the first time that I have purchased the putty primer and I am here to say that I love it.  Not only does it give a great base for my make up it also gives me just a hint of a glow that I was not expecting but love. Also, I did not purchase a tool to use with this I just use my fingers and it still goes on nice and smooth and feels very silky.

I bought this primer because I was trying to upgrade the way I do my makeup and also to find a primer that is actually matte and better than what I was using previously. I have extremely oily skin all over my face and although I still get oily quickly this primer grips my makeup extremely well and this is now my go to. However please everybody don't start buying it up bc as soon as I find something I like all of a sudden I can NEVER find it again - so don't try it!!!! 💅💅❗❗

I love it so far!!

I have been using for about a week. I like this way better than the power grip primer. I'm hoping this doesn't clog my pores, like other primers have.

So far, so good

It worked to visually minimize my pores from up close, but, not enough of a difference to say it's a “wow” product. I used it consistently for a week and I don't like how it makes my skin incredibly oily. I have combination skin and usually I only need a touch of powder mid day to control the shine, but with this product my skin was dewy looking all day. I like a matte look. so, not for me.

Not for me

Received a torn-open box with a smashed-in fingerprint denting the product. It was clearly opened before it was shipped to me. The box is black and white and the box was so clearly opened and poorly closed. No safety seal whatsoever. Walmart just sent TAMPERED cosmetics out for delivery. Not sure I would trust anything from Walmart to be applied in or on my body after receiving this item in this condition.  It is clear they have some extremely unhappy employees who are willing to ship out products they know are TAMPERED with. Not safe for any kind of application. I wouldn't put this on the soles of my shoes.

Not for oily skin! I read reviews where people raved and rated this as a top drugstore primer. It's worthless! I followed directions to warm between fingers before applying. It didn't make pores less visible and it made my skin oiler than using nothing. I blotted my face all day long at work and especially in the areas where i applied primer. What a waste of $10.
