I bought this after second guessing my cream product application with my hands and sponges. Found that I have more control with the amount of pigmentation I have with this brush since it doesn't add too much at once. I like how it's flat and not a round barrel to shape the placement of the pigment. Highly recommend

I LOVE this brush! If you're looking for a brush that will deliver lighter application that builds easily for the putty blush, this is the way to go! If you want something to apply a bit heavier, the putty primer brush is a bit denser than this one. However, I really like this one! Highly recommend!

Lovely application

I love blush and while powder blush is super easy to just apply with a big fluffy brush of any kind, cream blush is a bit more finicky, and I've felt like I've needed a smaller, specifically shaped blush brush to do the draping I want to do. This is it! This brush is super unique. It's a medium-small size stipple brush that's a bit flattened. It's amazing at blending cream blush into the skin, and it's the perfect size and shape to control exactly where I put it, even blending around my eye makeup without damaging my work. I've already tried it with a few blush formulas (elf putty blush, rituel de fille pigment balm, milk blush stick, etc.) and it works really well with any of them so long as they're cream. I doubt this brush would be any good for powder products, given the stipple shape, granted I haven't tried it with powder. But if you love cream blush and really love getting elaborate and specific with it, this is an amazing and unique brush for the job!

Best cream blush brush

So this brush didn't exist when I purchased the e.l.f.  putty blushes around Thanksgiving.  For the application, I used some stiff brush I had from EcoTools maybe? Anyway, the brush didn't go on evenly and it never really seemed to pick up the color... I was a little disappointed in the product, or so I thought. Then, I saw this as an option on my last order and I was like, ok, I'll try it, see it helps with the application.  Let me tell you, it's NIGHT AND DAY people. Much much much better application and I can see it on my skin immediately, and I feel like I use a lot less product. I would highly recommend this brush FOR SURE for the e.l.f. Putty blushes.

Perfect for their newer putty blushes!

Smaller surface area of the blush brush than I expected, and very narrow.  Not very "fluffy", so blush may be applied too "streaky" and not blend properly.

I like this brush! I don't think i necessarily needed to buy it though. I have the cream and powder duo Elf blush and the cream side works just as well for the blush. You can't see in the product photos as well, but there are hairs on the end that are longer and help control how much product it picks up. If you like a very sheer blush look, dip it in the blush, then apply to your face. I like a stronger look however, so i have to use my fingers to put the product on my face, then I blend with this blush. If you already have a brush for cream products, you don't need this.

Pretty good!

While I do like using this to blend out my putty blush after I dab it on, I'm getting used to using a stippling brush since that's what this is. It does pick up the putty blush fine from the pot, I just prefer to use my finger to dab it on the blend.

This is a great brush for applying any cream or liquid - not just the putty blush. It's nice and small so you can apply your blush/highlighter with precision. The only downside is it does pick up quite a bit of product (not ideal for super pigmented blush!) and the bristles can become oversaturated. Works best if you wash it in between each use

Really nice for putty and liquid blush/highlighter

I got this based on comments I saw on a review of the putty blush.  I have 2 shades and I thought this would make it easier to apply.  I love using a brush instead of fingers, but this brush doesn't have enough density to grab enough of the putty and I feel the bristles are too soft.  I have another brush I use that does a much better job at blending and diffusing the blush.  With this brush, I had a hard time stippling it on my cheeks because the bristles were not dense or stiff enough.  Maybe I got a dud but I would jot recommend it on its current configuration.

Not my favorite

The brush is both sparse and fluffy, not thicker and denser the way it needs to be to apply putty products. It left terrible streaks of blush over my face, even after working to make sure the product was applied evenly to the brush (which took a ton of effort). Skip this one, is my advice.
