Ratings & Reviews+

Taylor Electronic Kitchen Scale is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple, compact and seems accurate Bought this yesterday in store to replace a really old digital (postage) scale I used daily. This is not a scientific calibre device, so it doesn't go to milligrams. It comes with the two AAA batteries and displays in metric(g) or imperial(lbs,oz). Very compact and light. The tray apparently comes off, but is securely attached and doesn't rattle or sway when you place a plate on it. Only issue I find is that because it's small, when you put a plate on it, the display is almost covered, so you have to read the numbers at quite an angle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This things sucks... ...the batteries dead in just a couple of weeks. I thought it was just because it was the batteries that are included with the scale, but I've tried duracells since and the same thing, the batteries only last a couple of weeks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Approach with caution! Battery defective scale! I began using the scale couple months ago and after one week when I would turn it on. It would turn off in 2 seconds repeatadly. I first thought no big deal and realized it's defectiveness with battery consumption after it died after another one week. After putting new batteries in it again, it died in 2 days again! I'm certainly not happy with it anymore. Careful when buying it or you won't like it!
