This is more than just a lash tint! I have discovered that I can get this very close to my lash root and it becomes an eye liner that's perfect. In fact, I would purchase this just as an eye liner. I highly recommend trying this out as an eye liner. I have another mascara like this that I pay 10 times more than I do for this brand that is exactly the same. I'm very excited to find this.

I bought this mascara about a week ago and it arrived today. I just tried it on out of the box to see how it wears before I really wear it. I was immediately so in love! This mascara lifts, separates, and coats each lash (large and small) to give you the best looking lashes you can imagine. It is build-able and durable. Best of all, the brush makes each last count. You will love the formula and adore the brush!
TIP: After applying the mascara and letting it dry a bit go back and (working from the outside of the eye in) work the lashes toward your Iris. This will give you the longest and sexiest lashes ever. If you like waterproof mascara just top lightly with e.l.f. waterproof mascara.

Mascara From the Best of Old and New Times

Do you want separated & defined lashes? Then this is for you! The tiny brush let's you get right up to the base of your lashes without clumping or getting mascara all over your eyelid. Every lash gets coated with mascara. It's not waterproof but I haven't had any problems with transferring or smudging. It's like a BB Cream for your lashes; your lashes but better! If you are looking for volume, length, and drama then you won't like this but this will be my go-to summer mascara for soft, natural lashes.

Beautiful 'Natural' Lashes

I LOVE LOVE OVE this product!!!!!!! Think of this like a very liquidy mascara, it kind of has that wet gel consistency of a clear mascara. you would think that would make it not work well, but it is great! It is VERY black and pigmented, so dont worry. I expected a lash tint, but it is quite black and pigmented. since the formula is so liquidy, it isn't clumpy at ALL, it barely feels like i have anything on my lashes. it really is barely there. since the formula is so thin, i thought it wouldn't hold a curl, but it DID! the BEST part is, this doesn't make your eyelashes hard at ALL. maybe a teeny bit stiffer, but not like regular mascara does! This is a great mascara and it actually looks and feels like you have nothing on your lashes! highly recommend!

It did what it said it would do, and that is barely tint your lashes.  I thought it was going to be clear and would be good for on the boat.  But still, for $4, you can't beat that!

I'm loving this return to "enhanced" lashed rather than the standard mess of spider legs that took over the make-up scene for a while. The formula is thin, but buildable, and the teeny applicator tip is great. I work in a humid, hot environment so my make-up need to stand up to a lot of wear and tear, but still look professional for 9-12hrs a day. Despite being a non-waterproof formula, I have very little "creeping" at the end of the day.
I have two criticisms:
The joint where the spoolie meets the shaft of the applicator is flimsy, and should be a little tougher. Gals with long and/or thick lashes will bend the applicator at this point.
The color selection is limited to black. *sigh* Black is not a natural color for everyone. A selection of browns (i.e. Dark, light, ash), blond, or *gasp* auburn would be amazing.

Almost perfect

Ive used this twice now and it although it is wetter than I like normally...I like it. It extends my lashes and gives them a dark tint. It's a good primer too, I can put on any mascara over to make it more dramatic. By itself its good for daytime and such.

Good lash tint

At first I was very pleased with this product, as it defined my blonde lashes without the heavy feel of mascara, but then it got very sticky and basically glued my lashes together whenever I closed my eyes. Honestly I'm hoping the glue effect is a unwelcome side-effect of having removed my mascara a little bit prior to trying this.

First of all, let me say that I found this product to be a Dupe for the It Cosmetics Tightline Mascara Primer but I wouldn't wear this mascara alone. It is so sticky and while it does give you that tightline effect I felt like my lashes were all stuck together and when I blinked it was like I had to pull my eyes apart. It works really well as a primer, my lashes were longer and that effect stayed with the 2nd mascara layer. If you don't mind having a few layers on then go for it, but it definitely isn't my firsr choice for wearing alone.

Dupe or Don't...it's so sticky

When I first tried this product I really liked it. I love the wand. It went on smoothly, no clumping and it didn't look overdone. I'm a blonde and you can barely see my lashes without mascara, but I usually have a problem with most mascara makes my lashes look too thick and overdone while I'd prefer them just to look natural.

At first I thought this was a winner, but after a few minutes, I realized that the product did not seem to dry. It remained sticky even after 15 minutes until I couldn't take it anymore and had to wash it off because my lashes started sticking together. I took a piece of tissue paper to try to remove it at first and the paper stick to my lashes!

This product would be excellent if it wasn't sticky. I hope ELF takes this into consideration and creates a formula that will not be sticky but uses the same wand.
