I really like this concealer, but I suggest using it under your foundation rather than on top of it as you are supposed to do. I say this because otherwise it might appear to be a little too much. If you put it on underneath and then blend it when you are putting on your foundation it will help to make it the same color and same consistency so it doesn't stand out or accentuate any spots.

Blend it!

I got this a week ago already have received several compliments on how good I look; the only difference has been this concealer! I have dark circles and light skin, and although the Ivory is a bit dark on me, when I blend it with another lighter cream and my foundation, it works like a charm. And it's creamier than most products of this kind. It's really terrific.

I love this concealer!

Lately I have been trying out concealers,and wanted to try this out. When I received this in the mail, I immediately loved the packaging and how small this concealer was for traveling. I have oily skin, with a few dry patches, and apply this onto the dry patches and it works really really. I recommend this to those with normal to dry skin, since it is a cream concealer. I believe this has a light to medium coverage, and would use this on my lighter days. Overall, I like this product because it does it's purpose by concealing areas that I need coverage, but it's not my favorite concealer.

Concealers are Concealers

I bought this product in a lighter tone, since I have light skin. The box does not do a good job advertising the color at all, because when I opened it up the color was a peachy-orange color! It wasn't natural for any skin type. I tried it out anyway, thinking I could blend it well enough. That didn't work. It felt like I had just taken lipstick and put it on my face. It was way too cakey and thick, and didn't blend at all. I am a fan of elf, but definitely not this product.

Too Peachy

I bought the lightest color available (Ivory) but is nowhere near the shade I need. I have bluish/pink light skin and the Ivory is way too dark and orangey. It's even darker than the little shade-indicating band on the case. It does seem like it blends well and has good coverage-just need a very light shade. I do love the ELF brand. I wish that they had more shades available.

No shade for fair-skinned people

Even the lightest shade was not light enough for this pale princess. I purchased only in-store but even online they do not have a lighter shade. I do like the packaging, and easy twist cap, I just wish it was lighter. I did notice that it would clump up if I used too much at once or if I used it on top of my foundation. I would try this product again if the shade range was wider.

Not the best for pale skin

I used this concealer under my eyes, and I am more than disappointed. This product doesn't cover at all. I used it to get rid of the dark spots, and it made me look like I had bags! If anything, I guess I'd say it would be a good eye plumper,if you're going for a fuller undereye. As for the picture I have, the concealer is used on the right eye only. The top shows the product alone. The bottom shows the product after a bit of Zuri Loose Powder is added to blend the concealer into my skin tone more. I have the product in the color beige. This is the color I buy all my other elf products in, but in this concealer is was much to light.

Doesn't cover anything

I bought this concealer in Ivory and it doesn't match the "Ivory" shade on the outside of the box at all. It is a dark orange-y color so it's not great as a concealer. Normally I love ELF cosmetics but this one just falls flat. It doesn't match the color labeled on the box and it's a strange shade to boot.
