This product is great! I have oily skin and after putting makeup on its even more oily sometimes. I use this everyday and my skin just looks great and not oily. Gives me a great matte finish that I'm looking for. Some people on here says it smells bad, but I don't smell any Oder from this product.

This stuff is the best. I applied it onto oily parts of my face and it gave it a beautiful matte finish right away! The sponge is fine as an applicator, and the powder lives up to its name as translucent (although I can't guarantee how it looks on skin that is a whole lot paler or darker than the powder). I would like to say, however, I thought that the sponge was another powder before I had bought it. (This stuff is so good, though, that it doesn't matter.) That might just because I bought it in store, though, because the online picture seems pretty clear. Overall, this stuff is fantastic! I don't think I'll ever buy another brand of powder.

Best stuff ever!

This is a great touch up powder for when my t-zone gets a little oil.  I mattifies beautifully.  The powder has a lot more pigment and coverage than I would have expected for a translucent powder.  I suspect this won't work if you are medium skin tone or darker because of the pigmentation.  The packaging is perfect for on the go, it's slim with a nice size mirror and sponge included.  there is not very much product in this compact so if you were to use this as your main setting powder you would blow through this in no time.  But for touch ups the size and price of this are more than reasonable.

Great for touch ups

This Product is amazing ! I use this after PE to mattify my face and it does a good job. its a bit pigmented but when you blend it out its translucent ! DO NOT THROW AWAY THE SPONGE AND USE A BRUSH. Theres a reason it comes with it. your supposed to dab it onto your face because its supposed to absorb oil. if you just dust it on top it will look really cakey/flakey.

I know many of us (including myself) are confused as to what the white half of this product is. It's actually a SPONGE APPLICATOR
In my personal opinion, the sponge could go bye bye (or even moved to the bottom of a compact or just places in the box?) and that space could be used for more actual product. Since only half of the man in actual product, it does run out fairly quickly. I think this lasted me a couple weeks.
GOOD shine control, though! ELF never fails there :)

Good product - but could use some updating!

I have combination skin and I did not notice a great difference with this product. Within a few hours, I was glossy and my pores were noticeable. It's great for a more natural/lightweight look. For the price its worth a shot, but don't expect full-on matte coverage.

Decent

It was great during the summer because while it says translucent there is definitely a pigment to it, now that I've paled out in the winter it just makes me look ridiculous. Maybe once I get some sun again, but for now I'll stick to non pigmented powders.

I was a long time buyer of this product, but recently the formulation changed. It has a shimmer to it and leaves a white residue. If you have oily skin, do not even think about reapplying this as it leaves a very cakey appearance on the skin. I am so disappointed because I loved the old version!

Disappointed

This product may work for the fair skinned with a yellow undertone, but between the talc and titanium dioxide translucent is not a possibility on darker/deeper/richer skin tones. I can't really tell you if it mattifies, because the second I put it on my face is I was ashified. I couldn't even blend it it in.
