We have done several product to product comparisons with high end products vs ELF products. My daughter and love ELF for the quality, value and look!! Just wish all Walmarts carried the same products. We sometimes go to three different stores to find the products we use most! But ELF is worth it!!

Bought this a couple of weeks ago as wear matte lipsticks and have dry lips…. So the matte lipsticks settle into the lines on my lips… and don't lady as long ….also wanted to plump/enhance/have a good base that wasn't concealer 

Primer…. Achieves what it's supposed to so my lipstick doesn't settle into lip lines anymore and lasts longer!

Plumper…… doesn't really plump… but it a great base that doesn't dry your lips out and enhances the colour of your lipstick …I like that it doesn't sting like other plumpers as my lips can can get sore…. If you want more plumping effect I think you would need a product that stings therefore swells lips… (for me that's not suitable )

Tip….. prime first leave to dry, then use plumper - make sure it's evenly spread n leave to dry, ….. then line n lipstick as usual!

Cruelty free… great value for money 100% recommend

I ignore the primer completely. It's a waste...but that plumper tho! 
Full disclosure, I'm not lacking in the lip department but there is something really satisfying about that cinammon-y sting from the plumper that I love. My lips do plump up a little and give me a sexy pout that doesn't last but works for a quick selfie or two. This doesn't cost much and my expectations weren't high so I take it for the little bit of joy it gives me and don't get too concerned with all it doesn't do.

Plumper FTW

I was surprised the first time I put it on my lips. Plumper has a cinnamon and pickle taste when applied. I don't see much effect.

So-so...

I just got this a little while ago, and it is okay, but not my favorite,  the primer is chunky and lightens my lipstick no matter how long I let it dry. The plumper is okay, but the lip plumping gloss tingles just as much if not more and makes the lips look more plump.

this is to Bugsmommy07 , i have been using Hard Candy Clear Lip Plumper , and it works ! it also has a nice shine to it so u get a lip loss also !! i have not tried the E.L.F. brand yet , i was gonna order it , but after reading your review , i'll pass on it . i hope this helps ! i know some very expensive make up brands like Younique and Clinique have lip plumpers also , they cost alot ! the hard candy is less than 10 bucks . i hope this helps

Well I usually love love ELF items but this was a total flop. First off the plumper was broken off and I had to keep putting it back in the tube. But then it didn't plump anything. Just like Chapstick.  The primer was odd tasting and didn't really do anything either.

Flop

The primer is ok and the plumper tastes like cinnamon but didn't really plump my lips. It  starts tingling but doesn't last more than a couple minutes. I wouldn't recommend this.

Not that effective!

First off, don't order this online during the hot summer months. The courier left it on my door step and the plumping end of the product was completely melted and not usable (not walmarts fault). The primer end is way too cakey. I used it once and haven't used it since. You get what you pay for.

Wasn't what I expected

I returned this product. When I used the primer side, I felt I put on foundation on my lips. It clumped and dried my lips easily. I didn't feel the different after I used the plumper side.
