It's been 3 months since I bought it for my wife . She loves having her coffee stay hot.  I'd say it was her best Christmas gift this season. I can't think of any negatives; I'm hoping it will last. She uses it everyday! She dislikes having her coffee get cold.  In times past,  she would have to keep pouring from the coffee pot and now she no longer needs to do that.

My daughter bought me my first Ember maybe 5 years ago and. And I couldn't live without it. I'm outside a lot in the cool mornings and working on my yard. I get hot coffee for hours!  No more running in to microwave my cold coffee. Just bought on for the cabin.

As busy parents of 4 under 5, we are constantly pulled in different directions in the morning. Knowing we will have a hot cup of coffee ready and waiting is invaluable

Morning must have

I drink my morning coffee while playing games, and reading news online, not quickly.  And I like it to be hot.   This cup is designed to keep the coffee hot for quite a while, so it is just what I was looking for.  It's not complicated to use, and it works as promised.  The default setting works for me, so I didn't really need to use the app, but if I use it for tea or want to change how hot / warm it is, that's easy to do on the app.  Can't be microwaved (but why would you?) and not to be put in the dishwasher either.

Keeps the coffee hot

Unforgettable tea sipping experience every single time. 
It still surprises me when I pick up the cup after a few minutes and it's just as toasty and fresh as the first sip. Can't wait for cold weather to get here so I can enjoy it even more.

Amazing!!

I have owned an ember mug for years and it finally quit charging.  Thought I would try a cheaper version. This one is much lighter. Has the same charging capabilities. It keeps my coffee hot but the battery doesn't seem to last as long per charge as the ember. I have to turn it on by pushing the power button located on the bottom of the mug at each use which is a little annoying. It also tends to leave fingerprints on the mug and charger which I do not like. But for the price, I would say I'm satisfied. If the ember mug would go on sale, I would probably purchase before this one but it's definitely worth purchasing if you don't want to spend the money on the ember.

Love the mug, easy to clean, keeps my coffee at perfect temperature for me, and easy to charge with the charging base, only wish the battery stayed charged longer, have to charge it every evening for the next morning's use, which like i said is easy to do, but only if ya remember to do it, only reason it didn't get a 5 star! would definitely buy again though!

My Ember Mug!

I really wanted to love this mug. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed. At full charge it didn't last (keep warm) a full hour. I've tried it every morning with the same results. Plus, I sat the mug on its coaster charger in-between drinks and only gained an extra 7 minutes.
The style and design, as nice as it is, definitely isn't worth the exuberant price I paid.

Perhaps my expectations were a tad too high.

I was so excited about, and happy with, this mug.  However, in less than one year the coating inside the cup began coming off and it doesn't feel safe to drink from it now.  Very disappointing considering the cost.  And apparently the “ limited warranty” doesn't cover that.

Would not buy again
