Heating Pad

The fabric cover is scratchy. I am not sure if this can be helped with a wash cycle. The instruction manual is not clearly organized and I needed to go to the troubleshooting section to learn that the auto-off function is automatic after 2 hours and cannot be adjusted even though the diagram of the device labels something “auto-off controller” which implies some control over the auto-off function. The lowest heat setting is surprisingly warm, so I have only used the lowest setting so far.

Not what we needed, too small and basic quality

Just basic product

This heating pad works OK but I was hoping for it to vary from the "uncomfortable" pads that have taken over the market. Comfortable heating pads are made from some sort of soft covering with the heating wires inside. They are easy to roll up, for example, and fit snugly around your shoulder.  You couldn't wash it or immerse it for sure. This one (as do others like it) have a sort of "pillowcase" folded fabric on the outside. Inside, all the heating elements are enclosed in a stiff white plastic insert that doesn't bend very easily.Trying to wrap this hard plastic around your leg or your shoulder is laughable. It's very reluctant to bend, and if you manage to get some sort of curvature in it, it fights to remain flat. The thick plastic insert with sharp corners, also manages t poke out it's way out of the covering because it's so stiff.  Minutes after you've managed to arrange it (uncomfortably) on any curved area of your body, it's fighting to reassume its unvarying, but awkward flatness. To start again, you have to sit on it and cover it completely with your buttocks for at least five minutes to completely flatten it and start again. Chances are it's fallen out of its cover too - all by itself. So put it back inside too.

Only gets barely hot on high. The material and what's inside leaves your skin clammy. It's very cheaply made. All plastic inside.
