Accuracy

Very happy

Good product

Equate Infrared Thermometer

Forehead reading gives different numbers depending on the distance from the forehead. It recommends holding it 1-6 cm from forehead but it should give the same number if it was reading it properly. The ear temperature seems to be more accurate and consistent. You're better off buying a more expensive one than this budget thermometer.

Forehead reading not accurate

The reading is inaccurate, I wish to return it

The reading is inaccurate

Absolutely inaccurate reading. Cannot trust this thermometer. Will try to return it. Absolute waste of money.

Inaccurate readings

This does not read accurately and then trying a second reading it will not show up only ---

Buy higher quality product

How can forehead show 36.3 and ear canal 39.3? I was looking for a convenient product to use with my toddler but I cannot trust this thermometer at all. Will be trying to return it, it was a waste of money.

Not happy with this product

Equate Infrared Thermometer for Infant digital infrared thermometer for forehead and ear use with 1-second readings in °C or °F, fever alarm, two-color LCD and talking feature, built-in flashlight for night checks; hold 1–6 cm from forehead.
