Good generic substitute for the clear care system at a much lower price. Given the present shortage, this is also the only available alternative hydrogen peroxide system.

I have been using this product for many years. It is every bit as good as Clear Care but way cheaper.

Some of the other reviews cause me to wonder what they are doing. How do you get 'dust' from your fingers onto the lenses? I never have dust on my fingers plus do you not wash your hands before handling your lenses?

Also, if your lenses burn your eyes after you use this product then you need to realize that this is a peroxide/disinfecting solution, not a saline/rinsing solution. You need to learn to read the instructions.

Not sure what the other reviewers were complaining about, if you use the kit as instructed with the special case, it is the gentlest solution available and will not burn. My lenses have never ripped/torn. Only complaint is that the lens holder is a separate piece from the cap and sometimes comes apart (why didn't they make it one piece???), but I'm used to it.

However, the metal ring in the bottom of the bottle rather than on the lid causes the liquid to "brute" as soon as it is poured and it is difficult to stop filling on the line.

This is a great replacement for brand name peroxide based contact lens solution. The people giving it 1 star reviews because it "burns", I don't know how they survive in daily life. There are *so many* big warnings on the bottle to never put it directly in your eyes, always use the special case, and to please read the instructions. Are they oblivious or illiterate?

My only complaint is the case design. Without a ton of careful shaking and opening the case sideways, the lens always sticks to the outside arm of the case, meaning you have to touch the inside of the lenses to get them out. This inevitably gets some amount of dust from my fingers onto the side of the lens that touches my eye. Never having to touch the inside of the lens is a big reason why I switched to peroxide solution ages ago. 

A quick fix? Just keep a case from your old name brand stuff and keep using that with the Walmart solution. I've never had a case actually wear out.

Great solution, terrible case

The solution is just as good as the Clear Care brand for a fraction of the price. The case however, is absolutely terrible compared to the one provided by Clear Care. The lenses always stick to the inside, meaning you have to touch the inner part of the lens when removing them from the case. Keep your Clear Care case and use it with this solution. Fix the case for 5 stars.

I have just burned my eye with this solution.  There is not enough warning on the package that states you need to neutralize the solution before inserting contact. Very dangerous! I am outraged at the possibility that I have just damaged my eye!
