Our Cocoon Swaddle Sacks are designed to be both easy to use and difficult to escape from. This zip-up swaddle is TOG rated for warmth to keep a baby snug and securely swaddled without the need for complicated wrapping from day one. Being TOG-rated means that the 0.2 TOG can be used on its own from room temperatures 24°C / 75°F + with no blankets in the bassinet or crib to make this a safe sleep option for a newborn or baby. Parents can layer up underneath as needed for warmth, and follow our handy FREE room thermometer and what to wear guide included with the product to help them dress their child appropriately. <br><br>The Cocoon Swaddle Sack is made with GOTS certified organic cotton, with a of touch elastane. This means it's firm enough to restrict startle reflex whilst still allowing stretch and movement for healthy growth. The stretch also allows for full chest expansion when breathing, added comfort, and for a baby to move its hands into a self-settling position inside the swaddle. The soft, breathable organic cotton is certified non-toxic, dyed with water based dyes, and gentle on newborn skin, and skin prone to eczema breakouts. A zip enclosure also protects your child's delicate skin, and the handy arm poppers transition the Cocoon from an arms-in swaddle to arms-out sleep sack when baby is showing signs of rolling. The bell shaped design is approved by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute as being hip-healthy, and promotes proper joint development in the hips and shoulders joints. This swaddle sack is the best I've tried. It washes so easily and even after several washes from blowouts the quality is amazing. The snappable arm holes are my favorite. My girl started moving lots during her sleep so I was able to keep using this swaddle sack even though she needed her arms out for safely. And unlike popular bamboo products there's no plastic polyester filler.

I purchased this for our first baby who was delivered here in the UK for late June . It's a bit pricy . I am sad we couldn't use it for summer months as it was hot but have been using it for rainy days and cold days and it's perfect . Will definitely buy another one for my baby when he turns 3-6 months when it's colder here ♥️

Swaddle your way

Do you know how hard it was to find a non weighted, insulated sleep sack that would fit a newborn? Harder than I thought it would be! Now this the only think our newborn guy sleeps in! We always sleep in a very cold room (normally window open with a fan in the winter when it's 18* F outside -before baby). We don't have it that extreme any more but wanted to still sleep cooler in our room. This keeps our baby warm in our cool bedroom all night so we all sleep happy!

I used these with my first and coming back to repurchase for my second, we kept the old ones in storage and they are still are in great condition just very pink and we're having a boy.
The quality is great and suitable from birth (dependant on weight), so piece of mind that you especially need with your first!

Great quality and piece of mind

We have bought ergopouch sleeping bags in various different sizes and togs and are always so pleased with them! Our new addition to the family loves to be swaddled tighly while he sleeps and this sleeping bag has kept him so snuggly. It's great that the swaddle can transition to an arms-out sleeping bag when he starts rolling.

I love this sleep sack!  When my second baby was born in January, I knew she would need a warmer sleep sack, but she has a strong startle reflex, so we needed something that would swaddle her arms.  I also was looking specifically for a sleep sack that was organic cotton because the material of what I put on my baby's very absorbent skin is important to me.  This sleep sack checked all of those boxes and has worked perfectly for us.  We live in North Carolina, so the winter is mild enough for a 2.5 TOG.  She has slept very well in this and I absolutely love the soft material.  The closed off arms have swaddled her perfectly, and it's so nice to have the option to let her arms out for when she no longer needs swaddling.  I will definitely be buying more sleep sacks from ergo pouch as she grows!

The Perfect Cold Weather Newborn Sleep Sack

We live in a northern climate in a drafty old farmhouse. There are times where it gets to -40° F in the winter. After have a winter baby, I panicked realizing how cold our room was and how unprepared we were for a comfortable sleep set up.  I purchased the 2.5 tog sleep sack, 1.0 Tog Zippy and Butterfly Cardi for our newborn. It's definitely given me peice of mind and I love the set up! The material of the sleep sack is thick, soft and stretchy and has held up and washed great the past two months we have had it. Im excited to get into the 3+ tog rating when he gets bigger for next year. 

Cons for me- material seems to bunch up a little bit because it is so stretchy. I find myself have to adjust the fabric from bunching between the Butterfly Cardi and his sleep sack frequently. The zipper cover protector is also pretty stretchy and the zipper will pop out and poke him in the face sometimes which is a bummer. 

Otherwise I highly recommend for colder sleeping climates, it's the next best thing to wool in my opinion! Iwould love to see some wool products someday too!

Great for colder sleeping climates

I bought 3-6 month size for my little one during the holidays with discount, hence final sale. He is average sized, could fit in it until he turned 2,5 months and no longer. The sizing of that thing is very inaccurate.

Runs extremely small

I debated buying this as it was so expensive but was drawn in by the bamboo material. I got one for my 6 month old and the fit is horrible. All the material rides up under her back and she is so uncomfy in it. The first seam under the chest, that goes across the body and under the back is very thick, so she's basically sleeping on a lump, after two nights of rubbish sleep we stopped using it, don't waste your money!
