I took advantage of a very good discount of the black friday to get my hands on the best portable console of the Mario Bros universe! Very good product and a free game!

3D printing and very large screen

I was lucky to grab this on Black Friday. This was the best price for a 3DS XL that I could find...and it included a game! Still haven't opened it since I purchased it for Xmas.

Bought the 3dsxl package the Wednesday before thanksgiving online, item showed up very quickly and packaged nicely. Charged it up and gave it to my 6 year old son, he absolutely loves it. I love the preloaded game in the console, that way even if he forgets to bring another game he always has at least one with him. My only regret was only buying 1 as my daughter is now stealing it from my son!

3DS XL

This console I found on the black friday/cyber monday deals they were having. It really is a great console. I previously owned a Nintendo 2ds, but it would get uncomfortable at times so I thought, "What the heck? Might as well upgrade to the new 3ds at such a great deal. The console came with a free download as well with Mario 3d land which is really fun and cool. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who was in my predicament or a new gamer as well. Pokemon and Mario are classic games I grew up playing as a kid and I love playing the updated versions.

Black Friday steal!

I bought this for my 4 year old and he loves it! The new model is a little faster and offer more options suitable for older kids. I highly recommend this bundle, you just can't beat the price.

When I received the email requesting me to review this, I wasn't going to because I returned it without opening up the package. The reason that I decided to review this after all, is so that another parent won't make the same mistake as me. One of our children requested this as her Christmas present, along with a game, and so when I saw this, I scooped it up before it sold out. It wasn't until I received it that I realized it was supposed to say, "NEW" Nintendo 3DS XL Handheld Console, the newest, latest and greatest as of this writing, December 2015. That is what it is literally called, "NEW" for those of you that are like me and don't keep up with all of this stuff. I'm sure this is an awesome handheld console, we've had several Nintendo products and they are still going strong, as well as the fun factor. However, she specifically requested the NEW, as in NEW is the (confusing to me) name for it, so I returned it and bought her the correct one, as she only wanted that and one game... Hopefully, this review will have helped a reader make a more informed decision :D

Bought and shipped to our Grandson in Texas. He has not opened it, and no pictures show the face of console, but it say's new! Hopefully he will like it even if it is the older model. Thought we were getting a good deal buying it on Black Friday. Wish Wallmart would give more pictures and release dates in description. For that I would not buy it again. Wallmart does do very good on there shipping of products. They get a 5 star rating for there shipping Dept. always fast delivery.
