Ratings & Reviews+

Exerpeutic 325XL High Capacity Magnetic Elliptical with Pulse is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 871.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you need to lose pounds, this is it. Well me and my 13 year-old daughter are overweight. She weighed about 170 pounds and I weighed 240 pounds. Me and her used this machine everyday for 1 hour and we started to see results in a week. She was burning so many pounds and so was I. So after 3 months, she lost 50 ponds alone and I lost 40 pounds. This is an amazing product and you should get it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy! This is a basic elliptical with simple features such as computer displays time, speed, distance, calories and odometer (that's it!) The display is a good size about 1 1/2" x 5" and it is easy to see progress. The screen is not backlit. Machine also features a manual tension knob and heart rate monitor. I was a little hesitate with purchasing this machine because of the reviewers whom commented on missing parts and/or parts not fitting together. I bought it anyway. I didn't have a problem with either issue. Prior to assembling I counted every part. Keep in mind that some of the hardware is attached to the machine and will require removal and reinstallation later in the instructions. YES the assembly is time consuming it took me about 2 1/2 hours also and YES on the lowest tension setting I can "feel the burn" immediately. I am 5' 6 and my husband is 6' 1 our height isn't an issue with this machine. Just an FYI there is a 3 year and a 90 day warranty on this machine, not just a 3 year warranty as stated above in description. The 3 year warranty only covers the structural frame. All other components have a 90 day warranty. I couldn't pass up on the great price. I am satisfied with this purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can't beat the price The equipment works well. It's quiet and smooth. And it will kick your behind quickly. The only problem we had with it was during the setup. One of the cables was too short to be attached to the control box. Hubby pulled apart the rear casing to pull the cable forward, and was able to connect it as directed. We haven't had any problems with it at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your time or money Machine was shipped quickly. Started the assembly and some parts were missing-went and bought replacement parts got and it together fairly easily and quickly-directions were clear and easy to follow. The machine itself is awful, it rocks from side to side when in use, the rotating wheel is so hard to propel its almost impossible to use more than 4-5 minutes. It also forces you to lean forward at an unnatural angle when using it-very uncomfortable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nope We decided to give this elliptical a try based on half-bad and half-good reviews. I really wish we hadn't. The Good: Small, yet sturdy, doesn't take up much room. Ideal size for an apartment. The Bad: Horrible assembly. The bolts that connected the foot ends were stripped on arrival. I had to call someone with more muscle to come over to put it together and he even had some difficulty. The rest of the assembly was decent, no real issues, just a lot of screws. During use I found, like other buyers, that the foot pedals are at a horrible angle. This makes movement extremely choppy and uncomfortable on the knees and ankles which is what you DON'T want from an elliptical. I tried it out for a while, thinking that I would get used to it in time, but after a few weeks it was still the same. So we took it apart into more manageable pieces and returned it to the store for a full refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hurts knees & Legs!!! I am 51 years old, very active and work out regularly on ellipticals and treadmills with no problem, but this specific machine forces you to always be angled and pedaling in a downhill position. This is very unnatural and causes bad aches to the knee and gluteous maximus muscles and joints - which does NOT go away with regular use, but only gets worse! Not to mention - the more you use it the more the screws keep working themselves out of the front bottom arm lever attachments. I have returned it and ordered the Schwinn A40 Elliptical Trainer hoping I will have better results :)
