Description & Features+
Raised toilet seats address the problems created when the toilet seat is too low to be used safely and easily by a user. When person with reduced strength or other limitation tries to lower themselves onto a toilet seat they will sometimes lower themselves to a point where they become unstable on their feet. When using a raised toilet seat, the goal is to effectively modify height of the toilet seat to a height where the user can reach the seat before they get low enough to become unstable on their feet.
Alternatively, when a user with limitations is trying to stand from a toilet seat that is too low, they will often find that they do not have the needed strength to stand. Once again, a raised toilet seat will help the user by providing a higher seat height that requires less effort to rise from.
Most raised toilet seats prevent the use of a toilet seat lid but this design has its own lid that can be closed when needed and flip back removable arms that will provide stability when sitting and transferring and accessibility if needed when flipped back.
