These tires have been great. They came highly recommend from my tire guy, as he had them on his 3/4 ton and was sitting pretty at 60k miles. I thought 'no way!' But, man the highway ride has been smooth and quiet all 66k miles and I have gotten out of situations that I shouldn't have with these wonders. Looking at the current life, it looks like I have another 10-15k to go! Fantastic tire and most likely the next set I buy will be the exact same!

These tires have been on my 2006 Toyota Rav4 for 6 years and I have had the car 3 1/2 years and personally put 56,000 miles on the tires and they still have life left in them. Its been a great tire but after 6 years im fixing to purchase the same ones again.

Great Tires

I'm just finishing up with my fourth set of Destination tires on my 2000 Ford Expedition. I purchased this vehicle new in 2000 and now am in the process of purchasing the 5th set of tires for this SUV. Quiet riding, durable, and delivering over 80,000 miles on each set of tires. I could not be happier. Just recently bought a set of LE tires for a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner, and the ride quieted down considerably and felt much smoother from the tires that were removed. I'm sure with this lightweight compact truck I will get good mileage and wear out of these premium tires.

I seldom participate in product reviews, but after doing the research and selecting the Firestone Destination LE2 and I am really satisfied with that decision. I previously had another brand of All Terrain tires on my truck when i bought it 2 years ago, and the noise had become really annoying. So, off they came. And what a pleasant surprise. The LE2s are quiet and give such a comfortable ride there's no comparison to what i was previously running. No cons yet.

Quiet Ride

This is the first set of the destination LE I have owned, seems like all the Ford 150s I buy have Goodyear Wranglers, there are junk, the Goodyears only last 40,000 miles. I am on 55,000 miles on my Firestones, 18,000 of those miles are pulling my 8,200lb toyhauler. my tires still have a good 10,000 left on them. I rotate tires every oil change

Great tires, will buy again, 18000 miles towing 8,200lb

I have driven 26,000 miles on these tires and the threads seem to be wearing fine. The problem is the sidewalls are peeling along with the raised white Letters. They look horrible. I am not talking about one tire but 3 out of 4. I took them to Firestone today and the the salesman (Jason) thought they were like that because of rubbing on curbs. My wife drives this and will not park it unless it is in a drive in parking spot. We have owned multiple trucks with multiple types of tires and never had this happen before. To Firestones credit they prorated them and I walked out the door with a new set of Destinations A/T's mounted and balanced for only $300. As long as these treat me right I will remain a customer because of Jason.

Terrible

On a 2010 Tundra Crew Cab, I drove 37,000 miles on these 60,000 mile warranty tires, and I am now spinning my tires when I take off from stop signs. I rotated them every 5,000 miles. I drove them mostly in town on pavement to and from work, and occasionally on a long highway trip. They have been off road very little. They were pretty quiet at first and comfortable, but are now noisy, and I can feel every little bump in the road. They do still drive very straight. The couple times I've had a nail in a tire, they held air until I could get it fixed. I'm now replacing them to have more tread again.

Firestone Destination LE2

Bought these tires 2 years ago, and put on 34,000 miles since that time. They have been rotated on schedule, I keep the inflation at proper levels, and I'm not an aggressive driver. The tires are nearly worn out now and must be replaced before this winter. I probably should have replaced them before last winter but they were only one year old and I couldn't afford new tires. Very disappointed in these tires and will not purchase Firestone tires again after this experience.

Worn out after 34,000 miles.

Destination LE's had 18500 miles and were under three years old, yet Firestone did not honor their warranty as stated in there warranty booklet. No real explanation ever given by dealer. My inquiry to Firestone corp. was never even answered. A 60k mile tire with only 18500 and less than three years old. Just do not understand. I hope the generation II's are better

Destinaton LE

I drive my truck an average of 8,000 miles a year. My tires have about 36,000 miles on them and already need to be replaced. I am soooooo disappointed in them. I have had other Firestone tires and have been pleased with them. But these Destination tires are horrible, they have worn out way to early.
