Perfect Match.  None of the home improvement stores carried the original door seal but Walmart.com came through with flying colors!  Both were a perfect fit and just trimmed with household scissors.

I searched high and low for a seal for my garage door and could not find one.  Walmart came through for me.  Ordered it, picked it up at the store. Took it home and installed in in minutes!

Walmart saved the day

The only garage door lower seals sold locally were either economically priced T-shaped bead for dual-grooved channel or obscenely priced ones with various beads for single-grooved channel which may or may not have fit perfectly.  Online prices with shipping were no better for the seals I originally located.  I didn't know jack about garage doors before this project, they go up - they go down, that's pretty much it.  After wasting $16 locally on a generic T-shaped bead seal (in addition to about 4 hours), trying to adapt it based on the online reviewers' testimony of their successful modifications and efforts, I admitted defeat, sat down at the computer and spent another hour bringing myself up to speed on garage doors.

Once I identified my door as a Clopay, it was downhill from there. I quickly located this Clopay seal, ordered it and upon arrival it took about 10 minutes to install. The bead was a perfect fit, snug...but not too snug that I had to struggle or use lubricant. Upon my workbench with the channel secured in a vice, with no tools and working alone I had this seal in place in less than 3 minutes.  Time will tell but my first impression is that this seal will last. It is a soft, very flexible and easy to work with vinyl.  It has virtually no stretch which is arguably the biggest factor in making it so easy to install.

A breeze to install

My garage doors are about 20 years old and are in good shape except for the weatherstripping.  I looked everywhere for this weatherstripping with little success.  The places I did find, the cost was outrageous...  Low & behold, WalMart had the exact weatherstripping I needed at a super low price.  Installation was easy..  I removed the track where the weatherstripping goes and cleaned it of any debris.  Before inserting the new weatherstripping, Spray the track with WD-40 (or similar product) and the weatherstripping should slide in perfectly.  Having 2 people definitely will make the job easier.  Very happy with the results..

Worked great - be sure to use some soap water on the track and it will slide right in.  Also if you have 2 people one can guide while one pulls it along.  Try to get you door stopped at about eye level as that provides the easiest access to the bottom track.  See photo

Couple simple tricks!

I had a hard time finding this item anywhere else.  Easy to order and pick up.
Easy to install .  Just remove bottom rail from door slide out old seal and slide in the new one.  Reinstall the  bottom rail and check for proper clearance between new seal and door mounting brackets. Trim the seal  with scissors as needed.

Not universal, did not fit accurately , was too long for the door, and caused the door to continually fail
